Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation super-elevation and level as shown on directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification clause 1603.1 & 16652 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming filing of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding. The recovery for useful stones, for 122.101 cum. @ Rupees 300/= only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, with in all lifts including getting out the excavated soil as directed, within all leads as per ther direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and Laying cement concrete for plain / reinforced conc. In open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause-802, 803, 1202 & 1203 in Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 sand: 8 graded stone Aggregate 20 mm nominal mix). Including carriage of material upto all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification . Including carriage of material upto all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer -in-Charge.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8, (I) Granular material, Including carriage of material within all leads upto leads as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Boulder filling tightly hand packed under floor including watering, ramming, consolidating etc. with hand dormoot complete including carriage of material in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying heavy duty cement concrete inter locking paver blocks vibro compacting upto M-50 grade i/c border or kurb grey or coloured subbase of concrete with 25 mm thick average thickness of cement mortar 1:4 laid over and jointed with cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of blocks i/c curring rubbing and polishing complete subbase concrete floor to be paid for 60 mm thick inter locking blocks. (NTC make or its equivalent) including the carriage of material upto all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.
