REPLACEMENT OF REMAINING CIRCUIT CABLE FOR CAT I AT IMPHAL AIRPORT

Supply of 1 x 6 Sq. mm 5 KV grade single core, stranded copper conductor PVC insulated and PVC sheathed underground airfield lighting cable generally conforming to IS 1554 Part II - 1981 with upto date amendments as required.

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 5 KV grade of following size in the existing RCC/ HUME / METAL / DWC HDPE pipe as required. Upto 120 sq. mm

Supplying and laying of following size HDPE pipe, PE 63, PN 6 ISI marked along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 4984 complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc.direct in ground (75 cm below ground level) including excavation and refilling the trench but excluding sand cushioning and protective covering etc., complete as required. 63 mm dia

Supply of transformer housing box of size 330 x 330 x 400 mm [Length x width x depth], all sides and bottom are made out of 8 mm thick MS sheet and top cover made out of 10 mm thick MS sheet having clear hole of 216 mm dia with 6 Nos. M10 size threaded holes on the top for fixing of fixture base plate; 01 No. 25 mm dia drain hole in bottom and suitable holes to enable entry of 63 mm HDPE pipe entry for incoming and outgoing cables, Two Nos. cadmium plated earthing bolts with nuts and washer etc., including painting with one coat of red oxide paint and two coats of black paint finish as required.

Installation of MS transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:2:4 of size 375 mm dia x 100 mm thick and all round concrete of 1 : 2 : 4, 15 mm dia B class GI pipe with check nuts on both sides for drainage of water and 63 mm dia HDPE pipe for connection cable respectively in the holes of MS box smoothening the top surface with cement, inculding excavation of soft soil near the Approach light fitting etc., complete as required. Providing 15 mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:4 ( 1 cement: 4 coarse sand) at all levels, Including combing in all side as required.

Supply and fixing of 6 mm thick MS covering plate having 6 Nos. M-10 taped hole at hole centre of 260 mm to receive bolts for the transformer housing box including supply and fixing of neoprene gasket, 6 Nos., 10 mm dia, 30 mm long stainless stell bolt with plain and spring washer etc., as required.

Providing, laying and fixing 50 mm dia G.I. pipe (medium class) in ground complete with G.I. fittings including trenching (75 cm deep)and re-filling etc., as required

Earthing with G.I pipe of 4.5 Mtrs long x 40 mm dia i/c accessories and providing masonary encloures with cover plate having locking arrangement, watering pipes etc., including chacoal or coke and salt complete as required.

Supplying and laying 6 SWG G.I. wire at 0.75 metre below ground level along with cable and connect to conductor earth electrode, including connection / termination with GI thimble etc. as required.

Providing and laying earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG dia G.I. Wire in 15 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with G.I. thimble excavation and re-filling as required.

Supply and making jointing of 6 sqmm 5 KV grade plug and receptacle of Type I, Class B, Essna connector (Male & Female) with all accessories including field connection with 5 KV grade PVC insulated PVC sheathed single core 6 sq.mm copper conductor cable etc., complete as required.
