RequiredEarnest Money Deposit (EMD [as mentioned in Tender document] can be submitted through online payment or through Bank Guarantee (BG) / etc. (Refer clause 11.1.3 of ITB) (Annexure-10 of commercial Volume-1, if EMD is submitted in the form of bank Guarantee)

In lieu of EMD, Bidders (Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) / PSUs / Govt. Undertakings and Start-ups as recognized by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) /DPIIT etc)., who are exempted from submission of EMD as per extant Government policy have to submit / upload Exemption Document and Bid Securing Declaration (Annexure-1),

Note :: Bidders (if they are eligible for exemption from submitting EMD) are advised to submit both EMD and Exemption documents. In case exemption document is found admissible for this job, then EMD submitted by them shall be returned. Please note submission of both EMD and Exemption documents is not mandatory, it is only to avoid rejection of bid in case exemption is not found eligible for this job. However, bidders who have only provided exemption documents and their exemption is not found admissible, such bidders will not be allowed later to submit EMD.

• In case of Company, Power of Attorney in original (Duly notarized on non-judicial Stamp paper) / a copy of resolution passed by the Board of Directors of the company authorizing that person to file the bid on behalf of the company. Further Bidder is to submit notarised copy of Memorandum of Association, Article of Association and Certificate of Incorporation of the firm, as per applicability.
• Tender by a partnership firm shall be signed in the firm’s name by one of the partners duly authorized by other partners. Authorization by partners to be uploaded. In case of partnership firm: Submit copy of the Partnership Deed along with amendment, if any and with certificate of Registration issued by the Registrar of Firms (if the firm is registered). In case of LLP, copy of Registration certificate to be submitted.
• Tender by a proprietorship firm to be signed by the proprietor. Affidavit to be uploaded In case of proprietorship firm: Submit copy of affidavit showing Name of Proprietor, Address of Business, name of Firm, nature of business, PAN, GST Number.
