M&L for repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping ,free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. by cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in with screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer- in- charge

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces of repaired potholes by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with Air Compresor to remove all loose dirt etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying paving bitumen evenly a priming coat with bitumen primer of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 at the rate10 Kg/10 Sqm over WBM surface of repaired potholes by using bitumen pressure spraying machine complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with Air Compresor to remove all loose dirt etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bitumen primer of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm over bituminous surface by using bitumen pressure spraying machine complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for bituminous premixed Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) as per IRC:SP-53-2002 with grading 2 of IRC by using Hot mix plant ,50 mm consolidated thickness with 6.0 % binder content in weight of total mix (Paving bitumen VG-30) and filler of cement content as per design mix (not less than 2%) spread by using mechanical paver, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete to a uniform surface by using Tandom Vibrator power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) by using Hot mix plant ,40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content in weight of total mix (Paving bitumen VG-30) and filler of cement content as per design mix (not less than 2%) spread by using mechanical paver, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete to a uniform surface by using Tandom Vibrator power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Note for ser. item Np 06 and 07 : (a)Cement shall be used as filler at mininum 2% by weight of total mix in event of variation in design mix the percentage of filler content shall be on plus side adopted. (b) DAC and SDAC shall be as per MORTH specification (c) Laying shall be done by means of self-propelled mechanical paver, finishing with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls with suitable speed and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing. (d) Mix shall be obtained from computerized hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only (e) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula and approved by GE. (f) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportation etc for job mix formula and Independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

(g) Contractor quoted rate shall be for 6.0% and 5.5% binder content for DAC and SDAC respectively .If the binder content shall be less than 5.5%/6.0% by weight of total mix, price adjustment shall be made for less bitumen at the rate of Rs 42/kg .However no price adjustment if the binder content shall be more than 5.5% / 6.0 % and no other claim whatsoever on this account shall be allowed and admissible

M&L for preparing road surface by cleaning surface and free from all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc by using Air compressor and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (Retro reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material conforming to IS-164(1981) by using fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser including glass beads, propane in accordance with Manufacturer's instructions all as per BS EN 1871, BS EN 1423 and BS EN 1424 complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing the old solar studs of any description ,supply and fix new solar studs made out of aluminium composite body (of load capacity 20 Tonne) fixed with bright LED's 3 Nos (RED) on each side, size 125mm x 125mmx25mm and shank 65 mm, with battery of Li/ Cd and to be fixed using adhesive as per Manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. S&F in repairs metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 150mm x150mm x300mm with necessary earth work excavationetc complete all as specified and directed. S&F in repairs convex mirror made up of PC materials having clear and definite mirror image, 130 degree of viewing angle of size 800mm dia, provided on MS pipe 40 mm dia, 1.2 M long duly powder coated including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 150mm x150mm x300mm with necessary earth work excavationetc complete all as specified and directedd Make :- 3M/Darkeye or other equivalent approved by GE.

S&F by manufacturing retro reflective cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape of 900mm length on each side with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination as approved by GE including pasting the letter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001 on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of mild steel angle iron of size 25mm x 25mm x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. of mild steel angle of size 35mm x35mm x 5mm thick to a vertical post made up to mild steel Tee section ISMT 50mm x50mm x 6mm welded with base plate of size 100mm x100mm x5 mm thick at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing and fixing mild steel message plate of required size including painting all the steel surfaces with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand and Manufacture over a priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours and backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat) including all leads and lifts etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
