Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as specified .

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5metre wide and not exceeding 1.5metre depth for foundation, etc., and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5metre wide and exceeding 1.5metre depth but not exceeding 3.0metre depth for foundation, etc., and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance exceeding 50m but not exceeding 100m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete type C-2 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete type B-1 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping of poles, complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

Steel Tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-55 (11.0 mtr long) conforming to IS : 2713 Part-I to III 1980, complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, MS bolts, nuts, screws including painting upto 1.5metre above PCC coping in black and white strips 05 Nos of 30cms each starting from the bottom of the pole and two coats epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to the remaining external surface over one coat of primer and writing Pole No complete including taking down old unserviceable Pole all as specified and as directed.

Cross arm bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and also inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer including dismantling / taking down old unserviceable structural steel all as specified and as directed.

Stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No.1 of SSR 2009 Part-I using stay rod of 20 mm dia, stay bow 14 mm dia, 400 mm long, MS Plate of size 300 x 300 mm x 6mm thick, stay GI wire 7/4mm dia, including loop type insulator large size with overall dimensions 140mm dia, clearance of hole 25.5mm and stay clamps etc.(excavation and concrete shall be measured and paid separately) complete all as specified and directed.

Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) including binding to insulator with suitable size of binding wire and size of conductor Weasel (6/1 x 2.59 mm), Squirrel (6/1 x 2.11mm) or Ferret (6/1 x 3.00 mm) all as specified and as directed.

Galvanised Guard wire / Cradles / Stay wires complete as required at site all as specified and directed.

Lightning Arrestors, expulsion type, complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 Volts grade and entire satisfaction complete, including taking down old unserviceable LA all as specified and directed.

Cutting and trimming of trees and branches to clear the over head line in the arc of HT/LT over head line feeders and removal of the trimmed branches of trees complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Any ACSR conductor damaged during the cuttings of trees / branches shall be repaired and jointed / fixed by the contractor, to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, without any extra cost and nothing extra shall be admissible from the department on this account what-so-ever. 2. The cutting / trimming of tree branches shall be done to at least 3.00 metre radius of OH line. 3. The unit of measurement is 'SPAN' i.e. distance covered between two adjacent poles.

Painting of steel tubular pole any type with cross arms with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of surfaces of pole / cross arms by scrapping of old paint, cleaning of all rusted surface and painting upto 1.5metre above PCC coping in alternate black and yellow strips 05 Nos of 30cms each starting from the bottom of the pole and two coats epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to the remaining external surface of pole and cross arms structure over one coat of primer and marking of MES No complete all as specified and as directed.

Restringing / Restretching / Tightening of old ACSR conductor of any size and make on HT / LT Poles by disconnecting and removing from insulators including providing necessary binding wire and jumpering after proper stringing all as directed.

Anti-climbing device spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole and duly painted with synthetic enamel aluminium / smoke grey paint over a coat of primer complete, including taking down old unserviceable Anti-climbing device all as specified and directed

Danger notice plate, for LT, of size 25cm x 20cm x 1.5mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled, white with letters, figures and conventional Skull & Bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of appropriate size, all as specified and as directed.

Boring / Drilling horizontally under the road/hard standing not exceeding 6 mtr widths of road/hard standing and not exceeding 1.5 metre below the road level for providing any dia of MS / GI pipe for laying / protection of cable through pipe, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: The protection Pipe will be measured and paid separately under the respective item.

Taking out of old serviceable / unserviceable PVC under ground LT / HT Cable of any size and type fixed on pole, wall or laid in floors, trenches, across road crossing etc., including taking out of cable covers of Precast PCC / RCC slab or brick cover etc. setting aside serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and removing the unserviceable materials from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. The Cost for making good the disturbed surfaces of floors / walls in cement mortar 1:3 shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the Contractor. However the cost for making good the disturbed surfaces of roads, if any, with PCC and hard core filling is out of scope of this work and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule.

Re-Laying only of serviceable LT / HT UG cable of any size and type in trenches, floors, across road crossing, or fixed on poles, walls, or passing through pipe, cable obtained from Serial Item No 26 here-in-before complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. The handling / transportation of UG cable from the store to the working site shall be carried out by the Contractor as ordered and rate for the same shall deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate .

Sand cushioning to underground cables using new dry river sand laid in trenches 8cm thick below the cable and 15cm thick above the cable after laying and stretching the cable complete, punned to 18cm, complete all as specified and directed Note : Punned thickness of 18cms shall be measured for payment.

(a) Adjustment of contact gap for proper functioning. (b) Adjustment of spring operated front shutter for operator's safety. (c) Calibration of circuit breaker for over current, short circuit and earth fault with the help of CT and associated to meet optimum operational requirement.
