Work contract for restoration replacement of damaged PVC fill blocks supporting SS pipes and SS hangers etc of cooling Tower No III during shutdown in 02 2025

Replacement of damaged 50mm OD SS-202 fill support pipes, 2 mm thick (46 mm ID) @ 610 mm c/c at an elevation of 7.223/7.523/7.833 m , as per drawing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. a) Supply of 50OD, 2mm thick SS202 pipe (Heavy Duty)

b) Erection, fitting, aligning & Welding at site with compatible SS welding electrodes of approved/ ISI make new pipe including jointing as per drawing with self-tapping screws ¼”x 1” of SS New pipe + Old Pipe

Replacement of damaged fill hanger wire 4mm dia, SS-202, fill support pipes , 2 mm thick as per drawing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. a) Supply of 4mm dia SS202 wire for 1524 mm deep PVC fill blocks for 1524 mm deep PVC fill blocks

(b) Erection, fitting, aligning & Welding at site with compatible SS welding electrodes of approved/ ISI make or otherwise including jointing as per drawing and actual site requirement.

Replacement of damaged clamps 20x2mm thick, SS-202, to support 50OD SS pipes , as per drawing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. (a) Supply of clamps 20x2mm thick 754 mm long , SS202

(b) Supply of clamps 20x2mm thick 122 mm long , SS202

(d) Erection, fitting, aligning clamps around SS pipes at site including jointing as per drawing and actual site requirement.

Erection, fitting, aligning & placing at site including hoisting / lifting, fixing in proper position by cutting to size or otherwise as per drawing in tight packing position including the cost of all labour , T&P etc.. arrangements for the completion of the work but excluding the cost of PVC Fill blocks, including Dismantling,cutting, collection , lowering to the entire satisfaction of Er-in-charge & as per drawing Size of fill (1524x1220x305 and 1220x1220x305)

(b) Replacement of damaged PVC fill blocks made up of film type PVC fills / MC 67 of size 1525 / 1220// 915 x1220 x 305 mm , with black UV Stabilized, 0.23 mm thick with edge thickness 0.25 mm & confirming to CTI STD 136 , having a flute size of 19 mm as per drawing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Recovery rate for damaged PVC fill scrap which will be taken out by the contractor out of plant at his cost. Cutting/cleaning of PVC fill scrap, if required by the firm, can be done by his own labour and machinery etc. complete. However electric connection, if required, shall be provided free of cost as PSPCL's Works Regulation
