Demolition of cement concrete (PQC) (Rigid / Flexible Pavement) by PQC cutting machine or mechanical equipment (JCB Breaker) of any depth exc 15cm thickness below existing ground level including removing of PQC materials etc to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
Demolition of WBM of any specification and thickness in existing road including removing of WBM materials etc to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick WBM in two layers of 75mm thick each (compacted thickness) with stone aggregate of grading 2 ranging from 63mm to 40mm spread surface blinded with and including screening and moorum water consolidated and compacted to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for laying dry fine graded (sand )spread levelled as per design over WBM surface complete all as specifed and as directed.
Providing and Laying 400 micron polythene film as per IS-2508 laid over sand layer including all necessary cutting, overlaps not less than 300mm and wastage complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Sand layer measured and paid separately.
Material and labour for 275mm thick pavement quality cement concrete work in pavement of flexural strenth 45kg/per square centimetre in field, using minimum 400kg of cement per cubic metre as per design mix includig mixing of non circular polyester fibre @ 1kg per cum all as per design mix laid and finished by using fixed form work of steel along with Concrete roller, screed paver machine including electric vibrator of approved size shall be used with prior approval of GE complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) supply of polyester non-circular fibre as secondary reinforced shall be measured and paid separately (ii). All joints shall be measured and paid separately . (iii). In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix , nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted & belting shall be carried out strictly as per laid down by manufacturer of slipform paver .
Supply only non circular polyster fiber as secondary reinforcement with circumcircle diameter 30-35 micron design for melting point 240-260 degree celcius and having of 1.34 to 1.4 recron (recron 3s) @ 1 kg/cum of concrete complete all as specified and directed.
Forming 25mm wide Expansion joint using pre-formed filler board and filled with polyurethane joint filling sealant using mechanical means upto full depth (depth minimum above the back up rod dia 32 mm) with minimum performance guarantee of 10 years and minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) + or - 30% conforming to the requirement of BS:5212, BS-4252 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 10 mm dia, approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod complete all as specified and shown on drawings. Note: (i) Edges of joints shall be rounded up by mechanical means at the time of final cutting. (ii) Initial cutting shall be carried out within 24-36 hours of casting. (iii) Final cutting, rounding of edges, use and waste of back up rod to avoid deposition of foreign materials in the joint upto final filling of joints shall be carried out after 28 days. (iv) Applying masking tape on the edges of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required.
Forming 10mm wide x 25 mm deep construction joint using diamond cutter and filled with polyurethane joint filling sealant using mechanical means upto min depth of 10mm (depth minimum above the back up rod dia 10 mm) with minimum performance guarantee of 10 years and minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) + or - 30% conforming to the requirement of BS:5212, BS-4252 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 10 mm dia, approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod complete all as specified and shown on drawings. Material and labour for racking of old construction joints cleaning and removal old polyurethene material complete by mechanical means, dirt etc from joints and forming 10x25mm construction joint withpolyurethene based sealing compound with min performance gurantee of 10 years and min Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) + 30% conforming to the requirement of BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 for hydrolysis /water resistance test including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality 30mm dia closed cell polyurethene backup in position separating the backup rod over impregnated bituminous joint filler board using bond breaker tape in position as required, complete all as per manufacturers instructions using masking tape to avoid accidental stoppage of sealant on top surface and give a neat finish to the sealant all as specified and directed. Make of sealing compound : (Fosroc - 200/Refilthane-872 of pavetech) and back up rod & tape : M/S Supreme industries, M/s STP Limited)
Material and labour for two coats of water base paint in lines, dashes, arrows, letter, etc on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white, golden or yellow complete all as specified and directed.
Material and Labour for repairing to concrete slab surface (depressed portion/cracked portion) by cutting damaged/spilled portion and concrete pavement by mechanical equipment into rectangular crossed section, removing useless and worthless all loose and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 500m but not exceeding 1000 meter cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, including filling and levelling the surface, priming the patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified ready mix ELASTOMERIC concrete not exceeding 50mm depth, including form work where required all as per manufacture's instructions complete all as specified and directed.
