M&L Easing of window shutters, kitchen cupboard shutters, show case shutter drawers including fixing of screws adjusting handles, knobs tightening piano hinges including misc small adjustments , size of window upto 1.5 Sqm. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Flush shutters,30mm thick, solid core construction, with particle board core and ply wood face panels, commercial type on both sides, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of new wood or wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed

M&L Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 21 & 22 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Supply and fixing False ceiling at any height with "Armstrong Ultima micro look tiles" with 600x600x19mm thick manufactured by M/S Armstrong world industries using hot dipped galvanised steel section exposed surface chemically cleaned capping prefinished inbaked polyster paint, main tee of size 3000x32x15mm at 1200c/c and cross tee of size 1200x32x600 at 600mm c/c and wall angle of size3000x19x19mm around the wall to form grid of size 600*600 mm centre to centre.Hanger ofGI wire of 4.0mm dia to be fixed by approved roof plug' level adjusters and screws etc, The last hanger at the end of each main runner should not be greater than 450mm from the adjacent wall. Perimeter wall angle and micro look grid runner has to be on the 600x600mm mould including taking down of existing ceiling board of description complete all as directed. Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for provision of new 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and area of glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and area of glass exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair steel window peg stay all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair steel window hinges as per sample by welding all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair steel window handles with nuts and bolts or with screws including welding/fixing with nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Factory made UPVC three track sliding Window frame having 2 tracks for glass shutter and 1 track for mosquito sash made of upvc profile section of size 73mm x 42mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Sliding glass shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 55mm x 33mm and sliding wire mesh shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 40mm x 22mm. All section of the frame, sash, transom & mullion, as applicable, shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Clear Glass of Saint Gobain / Modiguard make with thickness of 4mm and stainless steel wire cloth of 0.19mm nominal dia. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. All the corner / mullion / transom joints of the frame and sash shall be mitered cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joining. System shall have adequate drainage mechanism to permit the escape of water from horizontal member beneath each sealed unit. System is to be provided with proper operating & locking hardware mechanism. Window locking system will be either both side push lock system or semi-circle locking system in centre. Complete window shall be fixed in to the existing pre finished aperture, by drilling and fixing through the outer frame using quality fasteners & silicon glue is applied to fill up the crevice between wall and window frame for leak proof installation including taking existing one complete all as specified. Note: - The contractor will have to submit 5 years warranty certificate for upvc profile and 1 year warranty certificate for hardwares.

M&L Framed work such as grills , grating ,etc with ends of bars shouldered and or reveated for forged in to spike, framed guard bars barred iron doors, ladders, balusters, walk ways raling framed work for water tanks similar work confirming to Fe -290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Collapsible steel gates, top hung consisting of channel pickets, pivoted flat bars, top and bottom runners, brass handles etc., as specified, erected in position and securing runners with holclfasts and brackets, including taking down complete all as specified

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of redoxide primer on new steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing in repairs Mild steel powder coated fancy type brackets fixed at both the end of drapery rod of same colour and type of existing damged brackets as directed.

Repair to doors by supply and fixing Top rail of second class hard wood 35 mm thick including making of grooves and fixing new top rail by replacing defecting rail using fevicol and wooden pinning. Size of stiles/ top and freeze rails shall be 100 mm wide and shall be treated with two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in repairs of brass chromium plated tubular towel rail 20 mm dia D type between flanges including taking down complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 100 mm long aluminum anodized barrel tower bolt extruded section complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, light shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete including dismantling of existing tile and disposal of to outside MD land all as specified and as directed.

M&L Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, light shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in vertical surfaces such as skirting/ dado etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete including dismantling of existing tile and disposal off to outside MD land all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 83 & 84:- (i) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (ii) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

S&F Factory made UPVC Ventilators design will be like top part fixed with exhaust fan provision and bottom part with fixed louver strips.Ventilators frame made of upvc profile section of size 45mm x 43mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Wherever required /specified, system shall have the fix mullion of size 45mm x 60mm having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/- 0.2mm). All section of the frame,transom & mullion shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Pinhead Glass with thickness of 4mm required for fixed & louvers strips. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. All the corner / mullion / transom joints of the frame shall be mitered cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joining. System shall have adequate drainage mechanism to permit the escape of water from horizontal member beneath each sealed unit. Supply and fixing in repair aluminium anodized hasp and staples safety type with mild steel hinge pin incl bolt to hinge plate fixed with screws of 100mm length complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 250mm Aluminium alloy, anodised, sliding door bolts with hasp, staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extrudud sections or cast- aluminum alloy and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing in repairs 250mm Aluminium alloy, anodised, sliding door bolts with hasp, staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extrudud sections or cast- aluminum alloy and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.
