From the length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS:1732. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement). Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Dismantling of road including, soling and wearing coat, screening, GSB, brick soiling etc. complete upto top of existing sub grade level and stacking of old serviceable material, complete in all respect. (NS) Note: Dismantling upto top of sub grade (av. Depth 150mm)

Dismantling of Brick Work, Tile Masonry or Tile Lining and Tile Terracing, dry brick work. (HSR 8.5 (i)) dry brick work (brick soiling)

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders in raising and reconstruction portion with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 496.98 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 496.98 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 496.98 cum, then only 496.98 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT.

Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyer for loading the milled material directly on the trucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note I: - The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mention in BOQ item No.36.

Providing and laying 200/150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - IV of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Providing & laying 75mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63mm to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 150mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects. Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS) Note: Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted alongwith bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS : 15658:2006/IRC SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]

Supply collection and carriage of First class bricks 22.86cm x 11.11cm x 6.86cm from approved kiln to site of work shall be made from good brick earth confirming to 3.5 of Haryana PWD specification 1990 edition in stacks of 50 bricks length, 2 bricks width and 10 bricks height paralled to the center line of the road. Bricks shall be free from soline deposits and shall be hand moulded. They shall be thoroughly burnt without vitrified and shall have uniform deep red cherry or copper colour. They shall be regular and uniform in shape and size with sharp and square edges and paralled faces. They must be homogenous in texture and emit a clear ringing sound on being struck. They shall be free from flaws, creaks, chops stones, nodules or lime or kankar and other blemishes complete as per Haryana PWD specification No.3.5 – 1990 First edition (N.S.)

Laying on brick on end edging lengthwise 22.86cm deep and 6.83cm wide including excavation soil and compacting along brick edging complete in all respect with other than brick soling. (HSR 24.6 (b))

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth or excavation of earth including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR of 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint–Apcomark/Berger–Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Flexolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflextorizing glass beads shall meet the requirements of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads. The method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS: 3262 (Part – 3). Note:- Before start of the work the contractor shall give brand, batch no., manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M.S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including construction of R.C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Foundation including reinforcement etc. as per Drawing. Cantilever Over head Sign gantry (r-Type) frame/truss Size- 3.05 m x 1.525 m.

Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry Size- 3.05 m x 1.525 m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade conforming to IRC: 67 – 2012 Type IV standard fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The messages (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be of cut letters made in transparent overlay film pasted over the base sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- 1.) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th Revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity mirco-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV Standards shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under :- The Contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warranty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out letters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The Contractor /supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor /supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible markings to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/ repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance , specular gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passed the requirements for all the above mentioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm3 cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminum composite panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminum on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB medium class 4mm thick embedded M-20 grade concrete foundation of size 600mmx600mmx750mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Size 1200mm x 900mm

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work and existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under:- (ii) Bituminous @ 1133/- P.Cum. Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
