Demolition of brick work or stone /boulder masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: - (a) Cost of excavation and removal of surplus soil for pit for burrying the wastes/sludgs etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Any damage caused during cleaning shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge without any extra cost.

Desludging/Dewatering of septic tank/ soakage wells including inlet/outlet chambers removing out all scum, silt, residuals sludge (both organic or inorganic nature) after plugging the incoming sewage lines through combined high presure water jetting cum suction (vaccum) typer machine mounted on LCV/HCV facility of high presure vaccum and removing the same in the tank to a place outside cantonment meant for the purpose by local municipality complete all directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of manholes, septic tanks of any depth and description including inlet and outlet chambers removing the waste material removing the same outside the defence land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete, M-7.5 (1:4:8) (nominal mix), type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete, M-15 (1:2:4) (nominal mix), type B-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in surface channel and drain, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete, M-15 (1:2:4) (nominal mix), type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in cills, coping, apex stone, bed plates and lintel upto 1.6m clear span etc including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Precast reinforced cement concrete, M-15 (1:2:4) (nominal mix), type B-1(using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in cover slab, manhole cover, shelves and similar articles with plain face, set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound of approved quality, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan, exceeding 6m mean radius with old size bricks, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No.14 here-in-before but except bricks, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Old bricks obtained against demolition shall be reused.

Walling of random rubble stone masonry, uncoursed with best quality lacally available harder stones such as granite, trap, basalt stone etc, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No.16 here-in-before but except stones, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Old stones obtained against demolition shall be reused.

Form work to sides and soffits of suspended slab, such as roof slab, floor slab, landing and similar work not exceeding 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping) for rough finish surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete, M-15 (1:2:4) (nominal mix), type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in slab supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landing, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone or cement concrete walls including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 with water proofing compound, finished surfaces fair and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note - WPC shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items.

Rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of concrete surface as on ceiling, facia and stair cases etc; finished the surface even and smooth (without using extra cement) with and including mixing of water proofing compound complete all as per manufacture's instructions and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) WPC shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items. (ii) Plaster shall be carried out upto any height in patches and contractor shall have no claim for height and scaffolding what so ever is required to complete the work.

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall by applying 1 to 1.2mm thick Altek/Birla white putty to obtain smooth/even finish using sand paper and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of alkali resistant cement based priming paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Peparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint white or tinted, over a coat of white primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing of newly plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceilling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Uprooting of plants (girth n.exc 15 cm of trunk to any type of plants 100 ml grown along the pipes or walls chajjas, parapets and roof of building (incl multistoried) and making good the surface as per existing surface and pouring acid not less than 100 ml for each plant in the roof to avoid further growth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from PVC tank from mouths of circulating pipes capacity exceeding 250 ltr & not exceeding 500 ltr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing and applying Polymer modified cement mortar of average thickness 30-40mm using Polymer in two layers in proportion 1:5:15 of Polymer Cement Quartz Sand as manufacturer’s specifications in specific layers, curing the surface after 72 hours of application with wet gunny bags etc and by finishing the surface with 12mm thick (1:3) Cement sand plaster complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- SIKA - Sika 122 HS FOSROCK - Renderoc HS xtra.

Note :- The rates Quoted against Ser item 82.00 & 83.00 here in before shall includes the following:- (i) Work shall be executed only through authorized applicator of manufacturer. (ii) All scaffolding work and safety measures such as provision of props and supports shall be of Steel and extent of provision shall be to the entire satisfaction of GE. (iii) After obtaining approval of the makes of products, the contractor shall give a letter from the manufacturer regarding the details of agency and name of Person to be deployed for carry out repair & supervision of work. (iv) Plaster work to the beams, columns & wall surfaces etc; shall be carried out upto any height in patches including taking down existing plaster/ loose concrete and contractor shall have no claim for height and scaffolding what so ever required to complete the work.
