COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF FIRE ALARM AND FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM UNDER GE WEST JALANDHAR CANTT

Comprehensive maintenance to Fire alarm and fire fighting system installed in HQ 11 Corps building & newly built ops room building by deploying suitable Technicians per visit. Team will clean, inspect, check the functionality of detectors, hooters, Manual call point, Fire control panel, connected wires, pipe lines, hose, motors, starters, fault, isolators, batteries etc. and carryout physical check by testing once in a month on a convenient day at the discretion of User in their presence and a report to this extent will be submitted by the contractor in letter pad and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item No 1 :- (i) The contractor shall submit a maintenance schedule for the entire period of Contract. (ii) Separate skilled man power (Technician) and non-skilled manpower (Helpers) shall be employed. The team will visit the HQ 11 Corps premises once in a month and immediately in case of emergency (Assumed 01 Emergency vist per month). Report of testing on printed prescribed letter pad of the firm will be submitted after obtaining signature of user to this office. (iii) The above offer will cover round the clock (24 x 7) complaint booking on your given Telephone Nos complaints will be attended on the same day. In case the contractor fails to do so, a penalty of Rs. 1000/- per complaint per day for the delayed period will be deducted from payment. (iv) Any breakdown (major or Minor) shall be attended even after working hours and keep the fire alarm and fire fighting system in working condition. Minor spares required will be provided by the contractor to make system functional for which cost deemed to be included in the rate. The replacement of any parts (Major) shall be measured and paid under relevant items given from 2 to 43:- (v) Contractor is required to quote unit rate for the items 2 to 15 . These items will be operated as and when required on order by Engineer-in-Charge through comprehensive maint. The department reserves rights to operate these items to the extent it is required at site or not to operate any item. The contractor shall take this aspect into account while quoting the rates. (vi) Make and specification of items will be similar or superior to the make/ description of existing items all as specified and directed. (vi) Firm should have MOU with Honeywell before quoting of tender and submit copy of MOU document with Honeywell before commencement of work.

M&L in replacement for 1.5 sqmm 2 core PVC insulated sheathed ISI marked FRLS copper conductor multi stranded 1100 volt grade cable drawn through existing conduit connecting and testing all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for 1.5 sqmm 2 core PVC insulated sheathed ISI marked FRLS copper conductor multi stranded 1100 volt grade cable drawn through PVC medium grade conduit 20 mm dia fixing on wall/ceiling with necessary fixing accessories, connecting and testing all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement fire alarm control panel with battery backup for 8 hours normal operation and 15 minutes alarm operation with battery charger. The control panel shall be provided with non redundant CPU (degraded mode is not acceptable), Capacity of panel-01 loop consisting with 640 characters LCD display and for net working with software for programming including maintenance free batteries complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement detectors complying with and type certified to EN-45 analog type multi sensor detector with heat and smoke combination installation, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply install in replacement testing and commissioning of Manual call point resettable type complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement analogue addressable fault isolator module capable of monitoring shorted loop circuit and automatically restore communications when shorted conditions are corrected complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement loop sounder with suitable LED indication hooter type suitable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Remote response indicator for all detectors located above false ceilings suitable to accommodate on ceiling and connecting to smoke/heat detectors all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old/new steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for opening up centrifugal motor cum pump set of 30 HP/24KW capacity for repairs / servicing, replacing all wornout part like bearings, coupling rubber, nut, bolt, washer etc., reassembling, scrapping the rusted surface and painting and making necessary electrical connections & checking the alignment, testing on load all as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with & including galvanized MS earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6mm thick, buried vertically in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level, with lop edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 below ground level connected to galvanized earth wire soldered and riveted or connected to earth plate by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers, of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and connected to panel board, all as specified and directed and testing on completion including provision of earth wire 4mm dia duly protected with and including 15mm dia bore medium grade GI pipe upto 7.5m from electrode to earth point including provision of the earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of not less than 15 cm in alternate layers of charcoal and salt on all sides of earth plate and GI light grade watering pipe of 20mm dia bore with funnel with wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance 50 metre, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 as in earth chamber, 50mm thick RCC cover using cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with & including 8mm dia mild steel TMT bar @ 100mm c/c both ways with suitable handle for lifting & including form work and MS frame using MS angle of size 40mm x 40mm x 6mm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth pit shall be constructed 50cm from the side of excavation to avoid sinking of pit. (Earth wire beyond 7.5 metre shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.

Excavation in trenches in soft /loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for taking out / laying of UG cables and getting out all as specified and directed.

Removing the surplus excavated materials/soil to a distance not exc 50Mtrs and depositing, where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling after laying of pipes along with fittings,including spreading, levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm (Soft/loose soil).

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, old burnt bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius and built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed. (For valve chamber)

M & L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with 1:3 cement plaster all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, fillings and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of UPS 600 VA suitable for working on 230 Volts, 50 Hz AC supply complete

Supply and fix in replacement of Battery 12 Volts 7 AH dry type complete all as specified.

Supply and fix in replacement MS ERW pipe of size 150 mm bore, including cutting welding, grinding etc all as required at site, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No. 21 above but of size 80 mm bore

Material and labour for single outlet SS hydrant valve with 80mm inlet and 63mm outlet heavy duty fitted with instantaneous female SS coupling cap and chain fixed by means of flange, Nuts, Bolts and gaskets complete all as specified and directed

S&F in replacement Hose box made of 18 gauge MS Sheet 800mm X 600mm X 250mm and door with 4 mm thick glass and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside yard complete

Supply and fix in replacement Hose reel with drum size 20mm and length 30 RM complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement pressure gauge 4"dial 0-14 kgs rating type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement replace air release valve 25 mm dia complete all as speicifed and directed

Material and labour for branch pipe Stainless Steel S 63 mm instantaneous inlet, made threaded outlet, 15 mm bore nozzle long complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 63 mm dia 30 mtr long RRL hose complete with male and female Coupling made out of stainless steel complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix Kit Dxc1, DXC2, DXC4 Spare Door with Display suitable for existing fire alarm control panel with battery backup for 8 hours normal operation and 15 minutes alarm operation with battery charger.

Supply and fix Kit, Dxc1 Spare Base Card 1 Lp R2 suitable for existing fire alarm control panel with battery backup for 8 hours normal operation and 15 minutes alarm operation with battery charger.

Supply and fix Kit Dxc Spare PSU 1 Loop suitable for existing fire alarm control panel with battery backup for 8 hours normal operation and 15 minutes alarm operation with battery charger.

M & L Framed work such as grills,gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted,or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors;ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe 290 Gde-E-165 including one shop coat of zinc chromate primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia supplied and fixed in reinforcemnt (weight per sqm not exceeding 4 Kg)

M&L for periodical cleaning of UG sump of Capacity 25000 Gallons (Fire static tank of 11 Corps HQ ) by scrubbing, brushing the edge on all sides, floors, ceilings by with suitable germ killer conforming to IS 1065 of 1969 including pumping / bailing out the dirty water, mud, silt, slush and any other sediments washing thoroughly with fresh water and applying a coat of white wash on internal surface of wall, roof and floor of sump and two coat of colour wash for exposed outer surface all as directed.

Supply and laying synthetic insulating mat 2m x 1m x 19mm ISI marked complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jyoti or equivalent

Supply and fixing in replacement First Aid box PVC body with complete kit/accessories wall mounting type all as specified and directed.

S&F Sheet glass 4.0mm thick ordinary qualityand glazing with oil putty or clip in square not exc 0.5 sqm in each pane all as specified and directed.
