REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED ROOF TREATMENT AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS IN CERTAIN BLDGS DUE TO CYCLONE TAUKTAE NATURAL CALAMITY OF WARDROOM AREA UNDER AGE BR I OF GE NW VASCO

Dismantling/Taking out existing hessain base felt or any other existing water proofing treatment from roof including cement plaster and exposing the top surface of RCC slab including removing dust, dirt and washing the roof and removing the dismantled debris to a distance exceeding 200 m but not exceeding 3000m spread and levelled as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

M & L rendering 10mm thick (avg) on concrete surfaces over roof slabs, in cement mortar 1:4,mixed with liquid water proofing compound, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, to receive roof treatment complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: - water proofing compound shall be measured and paid saperately)

Supply only waterproofing compound.

M&L for preparation of surface with wire brush and remove loose particle & laitance, wash with clean water, damaged or hollow portion, sharp edges etc. must be cut and removed till the morther slab. Fillig the cracks and damaged portion with polymer mortar and allow it to cure for 24 hrs. Brush apply the 1st Priming coat (Dr. Fixit primeseal or equivalant in Sika/ Fosroc/ BASF) on prepared concrete/plastered surface by diluting 2 parts of Primeseal with 1 (one) part of water and allow to dry for 04 (four) hours. Apply the first coat of waterproofing coating (Dr. Fixit Newcoat or equivalent in Sika/ Fosroc/ BASF without any dilution at the rate of 2 Sqm per liter over the primed surface. On the wet surface of 1st coat overlay a open-woven fibre glass mesh, min 40 GSM of size 2mm x 2mm and allow it to soak completely.

Immediately apply the second coat with a roller, to eusure complete coverage of the fibre mesh. Apply the third coat after 6 to 8 hrs once the second coat is dry. Drying time between coats will be 6 to 8 hours all as directed and as per manufacturers instructions.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings.

S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self-tapping screws all as specified & directed.

Dismantling mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for

S & F Mild steel roof trusses (framed), Trussesd, purlins, crane grantries, rails, wind tie and framings and heavy bracket framing (Beam,tee, angle, channel or flat sections) confrming to Fe 410-W including cleats,distance pieces etc

Disconnecting existing water tanks of size exc. 500 ltr but n.exc. 1000 Ltr capacity, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc. from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes etc. of capacity exc. 500 ltr but n.exc 1000 ltr and refixing in position.

S & F in repairs Ball brass valves 15mm, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed.

Taking up/down old GI tubing and connection of size 15mm bore, including cleaning for refixing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up/down old GI tubing and connection of size 20mm bore, including cleaning for re-fixing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying of CPVC water tubing 15mm bore, (20mm outer dia) SDR-11 grade with all fittings and fixed complete to wall/Ceilings or laid in floors all as specified and as directed

Supplying and laying of CPVC water tubing 20mm bore, (25mm outer dia) SDR-11 grade with all fittings and fixed complete to wall/Ceilings or laid in floors all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling water tanks and removing to store exc 500 but n. exc 1000 ltrs

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylinderical, vertical with closed top) of 1000 Ltrs capacity hoisted and fixed in position inc 20mm bore PVC float valve all as specified and directedin SSR Part-I

M & L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old treated surface of steel and iron surfaces over 10 cm width or girth including prepartion of surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for prepartion of new surface of steel or iron surfaces over 10 mm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
