Supply, Laying, jointing & testing 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable PVC tape PVC sheathed 4 Sqmm aluminium solid conductor 2 core nominal cross section laid in trenches/fixed to walls/ passing under the roads in existing pipes etc complete all as specefied and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Rigid steel conduit heavy of size 20 mm dia with all fittings and fixed to pole for protection to PVC cable connection from junction box to security light included MS clamp of size 25mmx3mm thick MS clamp, nuts, bolts and washers, duly painted complete all as specefied and directed.

Supply and fix Modular box of size 280x170x130mm made of FRP inpact resistance plastic & heat resistant materials including MCB SP 6 A, Connector terminal block 4 pole 16 A capacity and fixing to the street light or post top light pole with suitable sizes of clamps, nuts and bolts complete all as specefied and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x6.0mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level ) with top edge plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth wire of size 4 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of galvanized iron earth lead including PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, RCC cover made out of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with TMT steel bars 8 mm dia @150 mm c/c both ways with suitable handle and angle iron 40x40x5mm frame, GI medium grade watering pipe 20mm bore and funnel with wire mesh light grade protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 (Part-I) and testing on completion all as directed. Note: On testing after completion of earthing, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for laying of cables and getting out of excavated material complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after the cables have been laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Dry sand cushioning to underground cables provided with a layer of sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying and stretching the cable, sand cushion shall be punned to 18 cm thickness complete all as specefied and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Only punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying burnt brick sub class B for cable protection laid adjacent to each other perpendicular to the direction of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Laying Galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 40 mm bore for cable protection along the poles under road under drains, laid in trenches/fixed on walls/poles with suitable clamps bolts nuts etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
