PROVN OF FILTERS, INCLUDING CHLORINATORS, PUMP SETS AND ALLIED WORKS AT NATURAL SPRING AREA AND VARIOUS WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AT KASAULI and DAGSHAI UNDER GE KASAULI

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide & n.exc 1.5mtr in depth and n. exc. 10sqm on plan for laying pipe in trenches and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning & filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for anchorage blocks for pipe line/making good the cut portion of roads/paths/hard standings etc including necessary form work where required to support the pipe line and also incl making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.11 mm and weight 28.26 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/ culverts/ inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation, Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges, flanged joints shall measured and paid for seperately under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out for preparation of header as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. (iii) In the case of preparation of new header at pumping installation, all the alternate arrangements for uninterupted pumping shall be made by the contractor at no any additional cost. (iv) Contractor shall submit voucher, eway challan to Engr-in-Charge before clearing payment against this item.

Material and labour for MS Flange of ASA-150 standard suitable for 150mm dia bore seamless pipe comprising of inner dia 170.70 mm, outer dia 279.4 mm and thickness 25.00 mm, flange having 8 holes drilled to accomodate bolts of size not less than 19.00mm dia, PCS 241.3 complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing of joint for 150 mm nominal bore pipes, comprising one 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket, including 8 Nos M38 nuts and bolts (each bolt not less than 25 mm in diameter and 125 mm in length), and 2 Nos. 5 mm thick washers per joint, suitable for pipes/fittings/bends, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour steel water tubing galvanised iron 100 mm bore medium grade laid in trenches/under roads/floors etc incl, tees, bends, unions, flanges, Teflon tape and all necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Suitable size flanges for each lengths shall be provided along with nuts & bolts with washers as per site requirements. Cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item itself.

Supply, installing and testing of Pressure filter for flow rate of (35-40) M3/hr which includes raw water tank, Fliter feed pump, sand filter, Activated carbon filter, dosing system, dosing chemical tank, Electrical control panel, with control cabling suitably, Plumbing valves, fittings and other necessary items required for complete operation of plant complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The following Specifications shall be adhered to : (a) Filter feed pump - capacity - 40Cum/hr , Moc - CI, of 10 HP capacity, Head - 65 to 70 mtrs, Qty - 2 NOS. (b) Sand filter - capacity 40M3/hr, Diameter ~ 1800mm, Height ~1500mm , working pressure ~ (8-10) Kg /Sqcm , Moc-FRP/MSEP Qty 1 NOS , valve type - Butterfly, Size~ 2 Inch 1NOS, Bed depth ~1000mm. (c) Carbon filter - capacity ~ 40M3/hr , Diameter ~ 1800mm , Height ~ 1500mm , Moc -FRP/MSEP, working pressure ~ (8-10) Kg/Sqcm ,Qty 1 NOS , Valve type - Butterfly, Size~ 2 Inch 1 NOS, Bed depth ~1000mm. (d) Dosing system - capacity ~(8-10) LPH , Moc -PP, pressure (8-10) Bar - Qty 2 NOS , having dosing chemical tank of capacity ~1000ltrs, cartridge 4Qty of suitable length and diameter. (e) Electric control panel consisiting of Starter, Overload Protector, Ammeter, MCBs, Indicating lights, push buttons, switches for dosers, Incomers, Auto Manual Switches and other fittings according to site requirement as per recommendation of OEM. (f) Valves and Fittings - Pressure Guage and Sampling valves Qty 1NOS each of suitable make and size as per the site requirement. NOTE: (i) All other necessary fittings required for the plant as per OEM recommendations shall be provided by the contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item itself. (ii) Two Each set of plant unit complete shall be provided by the contractor as one plant shall be considered working and one as standby.
