Disconnecting supply of transformer HT oil cooled aluminium/copper wound of capacity 63 KVA to 200 KVA, 11 KV graded from installed position on sub station, after disconnecting complete electric supply from HT and LT sides including earthing strips for transporting to factory/ workshop/ authorised service centre and back, draining out complete transformer oil and keeping in safe custody in clean and dry containers for re-use of transformer oil, opening top cover for checking the serviceability of coil winding, conditiong of body after repair/rewinding to carry out necessary repairs as on required basis, providing all insulating material like sleeves, tapes, kerb tapes, cork sheet etc, after checking and make functional of tap changer including replacement of unserviceable items (where required) as directed and installing in its original position and making all electric connections with thimbles & PG clamps and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Major Parts (as required) and Transformer Oil shall be measured and paid for separately as under relevant items of this Schedule. (iii) All minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, insulating material, copper wire for delta connection, etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) Rates are deemed to be inclusive of checking and make functional of WTI, OTI, Buchholz relay including replacement of unserviceable items fixed in Transformer. (v) All T&P required for disconnection, re-connection, loading and unloading, transportation, etc shall be arranged by contractor and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in rate quoted. (vi) Testing of transformer shall be arranged by the contractor for Type Test & Routine Test which shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall submit test certificates to this effect before processing the RAR for payment. (vii) Actual weight of each coil shall be measured and paid seperately under under relevant items of this Schedule. (viii) fitting charges of formed coil included in above quoted rates of this item.

M&L for opening the oil cooled copper wound Transformer capacity 63 KVA to 200 KVA, 11 KV graded from installed position on existing platform/sub station/ two pole/ four pole structure after disconnecting electric supply from HV and LV sides on site necessary repairs like replacement of washers, replacement of sleeves, valves, taps, kerb tapes, cork sheet, refilling of oil, HV bushing, LV bushing and copper terminal stud both end threaded etc after checking and make fully functional the Winding Temparature Indicator (WTI) and Oil Temparature Indicator (OTI) including replacement of unserviceable item (if required) as directed and installing in its original position and making all electric connections with thimble & PG clamps, commissioning including refilling of transformer oil after dehydration with dielectric strength (min 60 KV) and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) HV/LV bushes, breather assembly, copper terminal stud both end threaded, Transformer oil, valve, cork sheet shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item. (iii) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) Container for keeping the transformer oil safe for reuse shall be arranged by contractor.

Dehydration & filtration of transformer oil through stream line oil filtration plant, extracting the moisture contents and carbon deposits from oil and bringing it to 60 KV (minimum) dielectric strength including carrying out acidity test /dielectric test before and after filtration at site of any installation in Cantt area of any capacity/make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type plinth mounted complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that there shall be no wastage of transformer oil. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that conservator tank is full to its level before starting the dehydration. (iv) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (v) Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cost thereof shall be borne by the contractor.

Supply and filling in replacement with new mineral grade transformer oil (ISI marked) EHV type conforming to IS-335 of 1993 in transformer duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength 60 KV (minimum) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

S&F cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed with & including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces including taking down old cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates etc complete all as specified and as directed . Note: - (i) Sizes, sections & types of members and shape of the cross arms etc shall be as required at site and all as directed. (ii) Un-exposed steel surfaces shall be given one coat of red-oxide zinc chromate primer only. Cost of the same is included in unit rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

S&F in replacement of Earthing continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or buried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6 mm galvanized iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing to Transformer / GOD switch / equipments / panels etc with & including galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to & including galvanized mild steel strip 32x6 mm as earth lead, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted/welded to earth plate at one end and other end of strip connected to transformer / GOD / Panel / equipment body / test point with two Nos nuts bolts or welding with steel structure, GI earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level fixed with and including 25x3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from earth pit to top of electrode and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40mm thick RCC (1:2:4 type B1) cover complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing. Note : PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 70 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Supply and laying in replacement of synthetic Rubber insulated mats 3mm thick for voltage upto 33 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Danger notice plate of 25x20cm size, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour for HT 11000 / 33000 Volts and fixed with suitable MS clamps made out of flat iron 25x5mm, bolts and nuts of approved size, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for ascertaining / pin pointing the fault in faulty 11 KV HT underground cables by using HT cable fault locator machine, removing the fault and testing HT underground cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earth work and cable jointing kit shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for taking down old unserviceable end portion of HT cables, cutting/dressing end portion of cable and making good end termination for HT cable size 95mm sqmm, 3 core with and including suitable size of aluminium lugs duly crimped with crimping tool and refixing its own same position, including Jumpers, insulation tape etc as required for the complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for taking down old unserviceable end portion of HT cables, cutting/dressing end portion of cable and making good end termination for HT cable size 150mm sqmm, 3 core with and including suitable size of aluminium lugs duly crimped with crimping tool and refixing its own same position, including Jumpers, insulation tape etc as required for the complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable route indicator made of Jodhpur stone of finished size 90cm x 20cm x 15cm with round top and all finished surfaces duly marked with ‘HT’ lettering of size 6cm x 6cm engraved on two sides of the stone and letters painted with thick synthetic enamel paint of red colour including in plain cement concrete 1:3:6 Type C1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450x450x450mm deep including necessary excavation & earthwork complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) These shall be fixed along the route of cable at 30 meter interval & on every turning & cable joint as directed.

M&L for cleaning, removing dust, pigeon poo and other foreign materials on external surface of transformers, LT Panels etc at various sub station/ E&M installation with required chemical and rubbing by micro amren paper and making surface rust free and aesthetic look complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs aluminium strip of size 50mm x 6mm thick, 15cm long, 4 Nos (three Nos in phase and one No in neutral) including drilling, bending, nuts, bolts and washers of appropriate size to transformer of LT side bushing rod complete all as specified and as directed.
