REPAIRS TO ROAD, ROAD FURNITURE AT ARMY LAND UNDER GE(I) CAMPBELL BAY

Amount

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm n.exc 50mm deep all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming ( including supply of road metal ) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Preparing unserviced water bound macadam black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG 10 of any penetration at 10 Kg. Per 10 Sqm all as specified and directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG 10 of any penetration at 5 Kg. Per 10 Sqm all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen VG-30 grade laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Bituminous premixed carpet 25mm consolidated thickness, with 0.34 cum of stone chipping mixed with 18.25 kg of binder, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient and applying premixed sand seal coat with 0.06cum of sand mixed with 6.80kg of bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface.

M&L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like n exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow with adequate number of coats until the desired result is obtained all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

S&F in repair delineators ABS round body struts fitted with 02 nos 100 mm dia with 50 micron high reflective reflector and mounted on MS pipe of 50 mm dia 600 mm long duly powder coated and rust proof incl fixing of delineator on ground with PCC (1:2:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair duel directional reflective cat eye of PVC stud 100x100mm of any clour having plastic ABS strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow a side fixed with adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs polycarbonate convex mirror of dia 100cm with adjustable fixing bracket incl vertical SS Pipe n.less than 100mm dia 6mm thickness, SS plates sixe 30cmx30cmx6mm post holes, PCC bedding of size 45x45x90cm, synthetic enamel painting etc all as specified and as directed

S&F in repair of plastic speed breakers of height 50mm (size 350x250x50mm) made of ABS material having resistance to impact load with nails and fixing with three compound adhesive all as specified and as directed

Note : An amount of Rs 3,115.00 towards Schedule of Credit shall be deducted to arrive the Contract Sum.
