CONSTRUCTION OF ARTS BUILDING AT SVM COMPLEX, NALCO TOWNSHIP, DAMANJODI

2.6.1 Earthwork in Excavation by mechanical means (Hydralic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including shoring, shuttering & dewatering in case of needed, and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed in all types of soil.

2.8.1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. in all kinds of soil

2.8.2 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. for soft rock up to 1.5 mtrs depth.

2.31 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood,trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

2.33.1 Tree Cutting, inculding removal of roots and disposal of the same completely at the designated place with following necessary safety guidelines, as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge.

2.25 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock)/ Fly ash in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. (Fly ash required shall be transported by the contractor from plant/ash pond)

2.34 Supplying chemical emulsion ( Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20%in sealed containers) including delivery at site as directed by Engineer In-Charge.

2.35.3 Treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floor.

2.27 Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming consolidating and dressing complete.

4.1.5 Providing and laying in position Cement Concrete of 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work upto plinth level. ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)
