CONSTRUCTION OF ARTS BUILDING AT SVM COMPLEX, NALCO TOWNSHIP, DAMANJODI

2.6.1 Earthwork in Excavation by mechanical means (Hydralic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including shoring, shuttering & dewatering in case of needed, and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed in all types of soil.

2.8.1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. in all kinds of soil

2.8.2 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. for soft rock up to 1.5 mtrs depth.

2.31 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood,trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

2.33.1 Tree Cutting, inculding removal of roots and disposal of the same completely at the designated place with following necessary safety guidelines, as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge.

2.25 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock)/ Fly ash in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. (Fly ash required shall be transported by the contractor from plant/ash pond)

2.34 Supplying chemical emulsion ( Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20%in sealed containers) including delivery at site as directed by Engineer In-Charge.

2.35.3 Treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floor.

2.27 Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming consolidating and dressing complete.

4.1.5 Providing and laying in position Cement Concrete of 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work upto plinth level. ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

4.1.8 Providing and laying in position Cement Concrete of 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work upto plinth level. ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

4.5.1 Providing, Laying, lifting and fixing in position of concrete precast cover slabs (1:1.5:3) maximum aggregate size 20 mm of different sizes as per drawing inclduing all materials and tools and tackels with frame work (reinforcement will be paid separately). All complete as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

4.10 Providing and laying of 40 mm. thick damp proof course (1:2:4) max. size of aggregate 12.5mm, above the plinth beam including all tools and taken with proper safety pecurction, all complete as per specification and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

4.17 Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement :3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75 mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including finishing the top smooth.( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

5.33.1 Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine Mixed Design Mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.“(Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum.“Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately). ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE) for all works up to plinth level

5.22 Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C. work at all height and depths, carting the same from store / issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused / scrap / unserviceable steel to owner's storage point etc. all complete. [REINFORCEMENT STEEL / TOR STEEL SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE] upto Plinth Level.

5.22.A Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C. work at all height and depths, carting the same from store / issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused / scrap / unserviceable steel to owner's storage point etc. all complete. 5.9.1 Centering and Shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for:Foundations, Footings, Bases of Columns, etc. for mass concrete

6.4.2 Providing and laying brick masonry with fly ash bricks in super structure up to all hight in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 sand ) using Nawarngapur or approved quality sand with brick class designation 50 including curing and racking out joints,scaffolding etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.(FLY ASH BRICKS SHALL BE SUPPLIED BY THE AGENCY AT THEIR OWN COST BUT CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

7.1 Random rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 agreegate of 20 mm. nominal size) (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.)

8.12 Providing and laying flamed finish Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing , curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge : Flamed finish granite stone slab ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

9.117.1 Providing and fixing factory made uPVC door / window frame made of uPVC extruded section (size 48x40 mm) having an overall dimension as below (tolerance ±1mm), with wall thickness 2.0 mm (± 0.2 mm), corners of the door frame to be Jointed with galvanized brackets and stainless steel screws, joints mitred and Plastic welded. The hinge side vertical of the frames reinforced by galvanized M.S. tube of size 19 X 19 mm and 1mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness and 3 nos. stainless steel hinges fixed to the frame complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineerin- charge.

9.20.1 Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters of 35 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws conforming to IS:2202 (Part I) decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched teak 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters.

9.119 Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm, made out of extruded 5mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 Nos of 150 mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

9.118.3 25 mm thick PVC flush door shutters made out of a one piece Multi chamber extruded PVC section of the size of 762 mm X 25 mm or less as per requirement with an average wall thickness of 1 mm (± 0.3 mm). PVC foam end cap of size 23x10 mm are provided on both vertical edges to ensure the overall thickness of 25 mm. M.S. tube having dimensions 19 mm x 19 mm and 1.0 mm (± 0.1 mm) is inserted along the hinge side of the door. Core of the door shutter should be filled with High Density Polyurethane foam. The Top & Bottom edges of the shutter are covered with an end-cap of the size 25 mm X 11 mm. Door shutter shall be reinforced with special polymeric reinforcements as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge to take up necessary hardware and fixtures. Stickers indicating the locations of hardware will be pasted at appropriate places etc. all complete as per the direction of Engg-in-Charge.

10.28 Providing and fixing Stainless Steel ( Grade 304) Railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge.

11.41.2 Providing and laying anti skid vitrified floor tiles (Johnson / kajaria / RAK or equivalent) of (600 x 600) mm. size (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in colours White,Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete as per the direction of Engg-in-Charge. (ONLY GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE).

11.46.2 Providing and laying Vitrified tiles (Johnson / kajaria / RAK or equivalent) of (600 x 600) mm sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622 of approved make in all colours & shade in skirting or wall over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete as per the direction of Engg-in-Charge. 12.41.1 Providing and fixing on wall face 75 mm diameter metre unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion,

13.16 6 mm Cement Plaster of mix : 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

13.45.1 Providing and painting of Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm, including necessary scaffolding and following of safety guideline, all complete as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.

13.61 Providing & Applying Painting with Synthetic Enamel Paint two or more coats of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade.

13.80 Providing and applying white Cement Based Putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

13.83 Wall Painting two or more coats with Premium Acrylic Emulsion Paint of Interior Grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.

15.7 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

15.9 Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :

16.68 Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

21.1.1.3 Providing and fixing Polyester powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of polyester powder coating 50 micron). for aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-incharge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately). For both fixed & Sliding type

21.1.2.2 Providing and fixing Polyester powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of polyester powder coating 50 micron) for shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately). Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

21.3 Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item). With float glass panes of 5.50 mm thickness.

22.14.1 Grading roof for water proofing treatment with. cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

26.9 Providing & fixing of letters of any language of approved patterns made with stainless steel (Grade-304) including base plate at back side,matching to the size of letter,over vertical masonry etc.all complete as per the direction of Engg-In-Charge.
