CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND DRAWINGS AND ESTIMATION OF THE WORK FOR PROVN OF DEFICIENT SINGLE L/IN ACCN FOR SNCOs AND AIRMEN AT AFS KURSEONG UNDER GE (AF) BAGDOGRA.

Note 1:- (Applicable for all parts/items) : The biidders/contractors are advised to read tender documents & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Structural consultancy job for "Provn of deficient single L/in accn at AFS Kurseong" consisting of RCC framed structure (as per arch drawings). The job consisting of following services shall be carried out as brought out in subsequent paras and terms & conditions (Approx Plinth Area of building is 577.26 Sqm). (a) Preparation and supply of structural design by using design software like STAAD/ STRAP with load chart for entire structural components, viz., walls, columns, beams, slabs, girders etc., along with strcutural drawings and complete design folder containing structural analysis and design calculations duly vetted by any Govt Engineering College/IIT/NIT. (b) For design purpose life of expected life of building to be considered as minimum 80 years. The design shall be sound, economical and as per best engineering practices suitable for the region. Design shall comply with provisions of all relevant IS codes and statutory rules of Govt of India and concerned state Govt.

(c) Design and detailing shall be as per requirements applicable to Bagdogra area ie as per latest IS Codes i.r.o seismic forces as per IS code 1893, wind forces as per IS code 875 part 3, dead loads as per IS Code 875 Part 1, live loads as per IS code 875 part 2. (d) Structural design of foundation shall be based on detailed soil investigation report. The structural designer should analyse the soil investigation report completely and not merely depending on recommendation part. If any, inconsistent data is found part of the soil investigation report, clarification shall be obtained from GE (AF) Bagdogra under intimation to HQ CWE (AF) Bagdogra. (e) Structural design of RCC Structure shall be as per Latest IS 456, IS 1893 & IS 13920 and detailing shall be as per IS 456, SP 34 and IS 13920. (f) For detailing and design 'severe' environmental exposure condition and 1.5 hr fire rating shall be considered.

Structural drawings shall consist of: (a) General structural notes. (b) Typical structural details relevant to the particular structure. (c) Foundation plan. (d) Framing plan at various beam levels. (e) Schedule of columns, lintels, beams, slabs, girders or alternatively detailed drawings of all columns, beams, lintels and slabs, girders. (f) As per provision of IS: 13920-2016, if 'N' value is below certain limit, soil improvement measures to be taken, proper stabilisation method of soil will be specified in foundation shall be designed will be accordingly. (g) Preparation and submission of self-Sufficient Architectural drawings for the above mention buildings as per Architectural practice and as per plinth / floor area and other details mentioned in the work held with GE (AF) Bagdogra.

Additional checks: (a) Compatibility with arch drawings. (b) No overlapping of foundation, footings, beams. (c) Consistency of framing plans, sections and schedules of structural components. (d) Completeness of details is essentail as these drawings are meant for lumpsum type of tendering. No vague reference to codal provisions shall be allowed. Development lenght indicated in the drgs shall be specific i.e, whether in compression or tension. The drawings shall be as per standard notatins and practices and enable a diploma qualified civil engineer to produce complete bar bending schedule, shuttering schedule etc. (f) Consultant to visit the proposed site of work to have a better understanding of the design requirements. (g) Preparation and submission of estimates of the above mentioned buildings based on SSR 2020 including market analysis & yard stick percentage of all the said buildings. The Consultant will be required to carry out detailed estimate and abstract by using various formula in MS excel software, prepare yard stick for RAR, market analysis of all the said buildings. Consultant to submit 02 sets of hard copies of the estimates along with soft copy in MS excel in CD.
