PART I : CIVIL WORKS
Providing and injection chemical emulsion for post construction anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under all round walls, floors, wooden surfaces, junction of walls & floors, wooden surfaces, junction of walls & floors, beams, columns etc, complete with using chlorophyriphos 50 E C or approved equivalent termiticide emulsion with proportion 1 part chemical and 19 part water or as per the manufacturer's specification and also the injecting chemical formulations should be as per I.S 6313 part III 1971 specification and as approved by the insecticide Regulation Act, including drilling holes 12 mm dia 300 mm centre to centre or as close as possible and sealing the same hole after injection of the chemical emulsion with cement mortar 1:3 (1part cement : 3 part cement) without causing any damage to the household & office materials like wooden furniture electric fittings and any other materials including spraying to the entire affected area with the same chemical formulation etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : 1. The inspection and anti-termite treatment shall be carried out in the affected premises for as many times as necessary for complete extermination of white ants. 2. Care should be taken by contractor to ensure that pets & human beings are not affected on account of the above statement. 3. After satisfactory completion of anti-termite treatment the payment shall be made to contractor for the actual quantum of work done. 4. Appointment from the allottee to be taken before starting the treatment and the number of flats should be intimated for which appointment for the particular date is taken. 5. Above treatment shall be guaranteed for one year from the date of completion of work. 6. Wherever treatment is required to be given to wood work doors etc. the chemical to be prepared in Kerosene instead of water and all as per IS specifications. 7. The contractor shall provide & maintain triplicate book for receiving the job complaint order from Engineer in charge daily in the approved format.
a) Flats of approx Plinth area between 27 Sq.M - 65 Sq M
b) Flats of approx Plinth area between 65 Sq.M - 85 Sq.M
Rodent control by eradication of Rats and mice by all of the following methods till the satisfaction of Engineer-In-charge. 1) Trapping including using various types of traps, including snap traps, glue boards, and cage traps, to capture rodents at any location within colony inddor or outdoor. 2) Fumigations in burrows with approved chemicals of aluminium phosphide, calcium phosphide & magnesium phosphide & filled up the holes with neat CM of 1:4 mix. The method shall be carried out all around the building compound. 3) Baiting with poison containing zinc phosphide all around the building. Note: 1) Care shall be taken to see that pets and human being are not affected on account of above treatment 2) Inspection and treatment has to be carried out as many times as necessary for complete eradication of rodents. 3) The period of all types of treatments shall be done throughout a year in the building & surrounding of the building to control the nuisance of all types of rodents in all possible ways as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

CHSS Dispensaries at Vashi & Kharghar (2 buildings for 18 months)
Removal of Honey Bee Hives of all sizes by providing and spraying pesticides like hypermatherine diluted with Kerosene in 1 : 20 proportion @ 0.25 Litres chemical required per bee-hive, conforming to relevant I.S Specifications, from various location using all safety appliances and observing safety precautions, complete all inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
Supplying & injecting herbicide Glyphosate of approved make over unwanted wild vegetation like (Peepal Tree) etc, wild growth of plants in the buildings at all levels including the cost of scaffoldings/ladders, disposal of wild vegetation and finishing the damaged portion with cement mortar 1:3 matching with adjoining surfaces, curing etc complete all as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
a) for removing wild vegetation in upto first floor of the building
b) for removing wild vegetation for 2nd / 3rd floor & above & shaft / terrace of the bldg
Carrying out chemical control measures (larvicides, adulticides) in stagnant water bodies, drains, nullahs, all around the building area till compound wall etc., from where the rainwater cannot easily drain out. The process shall be done as per (i) Larvicide: Since Aedes aegypti breeds in exposed water, to kill this breeding nature of larvae, the chemical treatment shall be used on a per-operation/job basis for entire colony compounds all around the buildings. As such, all the larvicides, which are safe, without any odor or color, have a residual effect with low mammalian toxicity, and do not pose any health hazard, should be used. Temephos, an organophosphate compound, meets all the above-mentioned requirements, and this insecticide is being used. The recommended dose for application of Temephos (50 EC) is 1 ppm (1 mg per liter of water), all as directed by the engineer-in-charge. (Note : The item shall be carried out during the monsoon season of 4 months & three times in each month of the same season or as directed by the engineer-in-charge.).
i) For Chembur DAE Colony
ii) For Ghatkopar DAE Colony
iii) For Vashi & Kharghar CHSS Dispensary buildings
Carrying out thermal or malathion fogging operations to combat vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue, as well as to control the nuisance insects, mosquito by supplying and fogging chemical pesticides Gokilaht Cyphenothrin 5% EC, Malathion or equivalent as recommended by National center for vector borne disease control board (MOHFW, GOI) & Confiirming to relevant I.S specifications and as approved by insecticide regulation etc, using serviceable fogging machine recommended by (World Health Organisation) & specifications with all safety accessories such mask, hand gloves, goggles etc, for eradication and killing of all type of mosquitoes around residential and non-residential buildings storm water drains and nullahs and open areas including the cost of fogging machine, accessories, labour, chemicals, supervision etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
a) Chembur DAE Colony - (18 buildings for 18 months )
b) Ghatkopar DAE Colony - (3 buildings for 18 months)
c) CHSS Dispensaries at Vashi & Kharghar (2 buildings for 18 months)
Disinfection of surrounding area of buildings in four compounds of DAE quarters at Chembur including open drains, stagnant water etc. using BAYTEX (10 ml/Ltr) chemicals pesticides confirming to relevant IS specifictions and as approved by incesticide regulation etc. using spray machine with necessary safety accessories such as mask, hand gloves, goggle etc. including cost of required tools and plants, accessories, chemicals, labours etc. complete all as per manufacturers specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge Note : a) The work has to be carried in the surrounding area during deludge immediately within a day after the telephonic instruction by the Engineer in charge. b. Quantum of disinfectant to be used based on actual site conditions but not less than the prescribed limits of the manufacturer 10ml per litre of water or assessed quantity at 2 litres per building for the monsoon period as a whole.
