PROVISION OF 40 KW ROOF TOP SOLAR POWER PLANT AT COAST GUARD SHIP SUPPORT COMPLEX PARADIP

Design,supply, installation,testing and commissioning of roof top mounted solar photo voltaic power plant 40KWp (AC) on existing building at Coast Guard ship suport complex ,Paradip, with power evacuation at 415V, 3 Phase 4 Wire system including connected civil works such as foundation ballast type modular mounting, structural frame work etc. complete all as per guide lines/norms issued by MNRE, OERC (Odisha Elrectricity Regulatory Commission) & Indian Meteorological Deptt viz solar radiation data,direct normal irradiance, global horizontal irradiance etc complete in all respect comprising the following:-

SOLAR PHOTO VOLTAIC MODULES: Each solar PV modules shall be poly crystalline type,wattage minimum 610Wp, the module efficiency shall be more than 16.99% at standard test conditions ,Required number of modules for the plant capacity 40 KWp with anti reflective coating and anti dust coating.Confirming to IEC 61215-Edition II ,IEC-61730 (Part I & II) and IEC-61701. Note:(i) Solar module and SPV cells used in the module should essentially be indigeneously manufactured in India (ii). PV modules shall be warrented for a minimum 25years(iii) PV modules must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity which should not be less than 90 % at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years.. (iv) PV module shall be tested by any MNRE approved laboratory.(Solar PV modules- Minimum- 66 Nos) Make :- TATA/PANASONIC/EMMVEE/ADANI/VIKRAM SOLAR /RENEWSYS

RFID : Each PV module must use a RF identification tag mandatorily placed inside the module laminate, which must contain the following information: (i) Name of the manufacturer of PV Module (ii) Name of the Manufacturer of Solar cells (iii) Month and year of the manufacture(separately for solar cells and module) (iv) Country of origin (separately for solar cells and module) (v) I-V curve for the module (vi) Peak Wattage, Im, Vm and FF for the module (vii) Unique Serial No and Model No of the module (viii)Date and year of obtaining IEC PV module qualification certificate (ix) Name of the test lab issuing IEC certificate (x) Other relevant information on traceability of module as per ISO 9000 series.

Solar PV module GI frame work and Dead Weight : Ballast type modular mounting structure, fabricated from pre coated mild Steel / hot dipped Galvanized Iron section of suitable size with appropriate & optimum tilt angle according to site requirment to achieve maximum benefit of solar energy and suitable to withstand total 200 KM/Hr wind speed with sufficient quantum of Dead Load Fly Ash/PCC Brick/Block total weight 9000 Kg minimum as per Structural deign data complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- (a). Module mounting structure may require to be customized with respect to the site availability. (b)The contractor shall submit structural design on Stad- Pro based on Wind load of 200 kmph on the surface of the panel, live load and dead load of structure with solar panel & seismic zone III . Any deflection to the mounting structure shall be as per IS 800:2007 (c) Minimum thickness of galvanization should be at least 600 gsm. Test certificate of galvanization shall be submitted by contractor. (d) The structure will not be grouted on the roof and roof will not be damaged in any way during the installation, Any unintended damage done to water proofing/roof structure during installation shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost as directed by GE.

Inter connection of Solar PV modules, connection to DC Control Box and Connection from DC Control Box to Inverter : DC cable single core 6 sqmm copper XLPE flexible conductor cable conforming to relevant IS weather proof, UV resistant, rated voltage 1100V grade including suitable type of copper lugs, suitable required qty of male & female MC4 connectors (M-10, F-10) & joints etc including Aluminim raceway for cable, complete as specifed and directed. MAKES: POLYCAB, FINOLEX,HAVELLS

DC Control Box -1No .Supply, fix and testing of DC control box/junction box, with mounting holes, Mounting Screws of required qty, for 40 KWp plant ,weather proof (IP - 65) suitable for outdoor duty with and including suitable rating of MCB breakers, string fuses with base ,copper bus bar, voltage grade 1100V etc for combining solar PV module output complete all specifed and as directed.

String Grid Invertor 01 Nos: Grid tie Solar string Invertor unit of capacity 40KWp (DC to AC 415 volt at given load condition, Three phase system),wall mounted, with efficiency not less than 97% conforming to IEC 600682-2/VDE standards with multifunctional LED indications with alarm LED/LCD digital display system with following specification complete .- 01Nos (i) Nominal voltage: 415V, +/- 10% 3phase 50Hz (ii) Microprocessor /DSP micro controller system (iii) IP65 (outdoor) Protection enclosure (iv) Grid frequency synchronization +/-3% range (v) No load losses<1% of rated power (vi) Ambient temperature 4°C to 60°C. (v) Conforms to IEC 62116 for Anti Islanding Protection. (vi) Internal protection features against any fault in feeder line and lightening fault in feeder. (vii)Protection features- Inverter should have following protections (a) Anti islanding (b) Over voltage protection (c) Over current protection (d) Over temperature protection (e) Reverse polarity Protection (f) Surge protection (g) Short Circuit (g) Frequency change (viii) MPP Trackers (ix) No. of Inputs: minimum 6 (x) Total Harmonic Distortion < 3%. (xi) Power Factor >90%. (xii) Inverter should be capable of synchronisation with grid supply and DG set supply. (xiii) Should have necessary support for Remote Monitoring System (RMS) Data logging system complete in-built with inverter (RJ45 port). Note:- If Grid tied Solar Invertor capacity as specified is not available then the same of higher capacity as available will be provided at no extra cost by the contractor.

A data logging system for plant shall be provided to measure the following data through web based application with cloud storage minimum 1 year: (i) Solar irradiance : Solar Irradiance an integrating sensor (Pyranometer) mounted in the plane of the array. Read out should be integrated with data logging system (ii) Wind speed: Wind Speed:An integrated wind speed measurement unit be provided. (iii) Amb temperature and Module surface temp : Temperature Sensor : Integrated temp, sensors for measuring the ambient temp and module surface temp and to be provided complete with read outs integrated with the data logging system. (iv) Module surface temp (v) Total output Voltage & Current. (vi) Generation data KWh (per inverter and cumulative) (vii) Instantaneous generation in KW (Each invertor and cummulative) Note: Facility of Remote Monitoring to be installed on existing PC at GE office and mobile app facility to be provided.

Invertor to AC control box : Supply and laying 4core 25 sqmm 1100V grade copper flexible cable required qty as per site requirment complete all as specifed.

AC Distribution Box -1Nos: Supply, fix and testing of AC control box suitable for 40KWp solar power plant and should be compatible with invertors and existingelectric m/cs. Weather proof with IP65 suitable for outdoor duty. Enclosure with mounting holes, Multifunctional Meter, 415V rating copper Bus bar- 3 Phase, Mounting Screws, AC Surge Protection Device -01 No. (SPD Class 2 as per IEC 60364-5-53, Input 5KV) MCCB 4P 100A, 415V, 25 KA- 01 No.,ON/OFF indication lamps , connections ,lugs or glands etc complete all as specifed and as directed. MAKE OF MCCB: LEGRAND/L&T/SIEMENS/SCHNEIDER/HAVELLS

Solar panel to panel earth wire connection: Supply, laying & testing required qty as per site requirment of single core 6sqmm copper conductor cable conforming to relevant IS weather proof, rated voltage 1100V grade with and including suitable type of copper lugs, all as specifed and as directed to connect all the PV modules structurees to earthing systemcomprising 25x3mm Al strip roof conductor existing on the roof.

Earth wire connection of Invertor, AC control box & DC control box : Supply, laying & testing of required qty as per site requirment of single core 6 sqmm copper conductor cable conforming to relevant IS weather proof, rated voltage 1100V grade with including suitable type of copper lugs for earth wire connection of Invertor, AC control box & DC control box with existing roof top earth grid all as specifed and as directed.

Protection Pipe for 6 sqmm copper cable[ Inter connection of Solar PV modules, connection to DC Control Box and Connection from DC Control Box to Inverter (Item 1.04) , Solar panel earth wire connection (Item 1.11), Earth wire connection of DC control box, Invertor & AC control box (Item 1.12)] : M&L High density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of min 16 sqmm dia and pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 required qtyfor protection of copper cable as per site requirment laid in fixed on wall with GI support included complete all as specifed and directed.

S & F aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15mm fixed with FRP saddles & fixing screws of size not less than 4 mm dia and 32 mm long for connection to existing roof lightning protection complete all as specified and directed.

Integration of PV Power with Grid : The output power from SPV would be fed to the inverter which converts DC produced by SPV array to AC and feeds it into the main electricity grid after synchronization. Incase of grid failure/ low or high voltge, solar PV system shall be out of synchronization and shall be disconnected from the grid. Once DG set comes into service the PV system shall again be synchronized now with DG supply and load rquirement would be met to the extent of availability of power. 4 pole isolation of inverter output with respect to the grid/ DG power connection need to be provided.

Metering : Three 3 Phase Solar Bi-Directional Meter Electronic energy meter 415V upto range 100A (0.5 Class accurcy) of suitable current capacity of any reputed make acceptable to company shall be installed for the measurement of import/ Export of energy. Meter must be provided with all the necessary data cables. The meter to be supplied must be tested from any of the NABL/ BIS Accredited Testing Calibration Laboratories. it shall also comply with the requirement of CEA Regulations on "Installation and Operation of Meter". The energy meter shall be installed at the incoming of the grid interfacing LT panel. Make: L&T/SECURE

M&L for civil works required for SPV panel supports , control box, invertor fixing etc complete all as specifed and directed.

(vii) Drawings : The Contractor shall furnish the following details for approval of accepting officer prior to the commencement of the work :- (a) General arrangement and dimensioned layout. (b) Schematic drawing of the plant showing the SV panels, Power conditioning inverter, Junction Boxes, AC and DC Distribution Boards, meters etc. (c) Structural drawing of the mounting structure. (d) Layout of solar Power Arrays and strings (e) Shadow analysis of the roof (viii) On completion of project contractor shall provide Two sets of following : (a) Structural drawings. (b) Electrical drawings. (c) O&M manuals of each equipment showing complete technical data sheet including deatils of specifications and makes. (d) Details of synchronization equipment and protection equipment. (e) Design of solar power plant to be vetted by NISE or independent agency approved by MNRE. (ix) Display Board: The contractor to put up a display board of suitable size and type of material at the project site mentioning the following: Plant Name, Capacity, Location, Date of commissioning, Warranty details, CA no., MES Office, Power generation, Name of the contractor, Contact number for Maintenanace, etc. (x)Test Reports / Certificates of PV Modules, Solar cells and Invertor to be submitted by the contractor.

M&L Galvanised iron strip 25x4 mm burried in ground/fixed on wall complete all as specified and directed .

M&L Test point terminal block made of gun metal of phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw complete all as specified and direceted.

M&L for earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr below normal ground level ) connected to galvanized earth lead strip of size 25mm x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel including 40 mm dia medium grade GI tubing for protection of earth lead, MS sheet metal funnel with wire mesh, watering pipe medium grade 20 mm dia, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternative layer of 15 Cm compacted thickness all around the electrode with concrete earth pit of PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 50 mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 pit cover reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar and suitable handle made of 10 mm dia round bar including galvanised strip of size 25 mm x 3 mm for extension of earth lead and necessary excavation, earth work, in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoils to a disance not exc 50 mtr and necessary connection and testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I including taking down old one , and all as directed and specified

Supply and laying of 3.5 Core 35 sqmm XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty 1100 V grade UG cable with multistranded aluminium conductor in trenches/wall/pipe/floor with suitable cable glands,aluminium legs etc complete all as specified. All Excavation, return filling, spreading levelling and removal of surplus soil and cable protection shall be measured sepereately.

S & F of 2 HP monobloc motor/ Pump set including starter panel and making good of foundation complete in all respect all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F 2000 litr PVC water tanks rotational moulded plyethylene wter storage tank (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as spcified in SSR Part-I

Supply and lay in trneches GI pipe of the 25 mm sizes of medium grade with reduced, bends, elbows, union etc complete and connecting to the existing pipe line all as specified.

Supply and fixing/laying in trneches/ wall GI pipe of the 40 mm sizes of medium grade with reduced, bends, elbows, union etc complete and connecting to the existing pipe line all as specified.

Supply and Fix Ball brass valves,high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed.

Supply and Fixing ofGun-metal, globe or gate valves,25 mm dia of pipe with iron wheelhead, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed

M&L submain wiring in concealed PVC conduit with two runs of 6 sq mm and one run of 6 sqmm for earth continuity, 1100 v grade PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS grade copper conductor cable single core multistranded ISI marked (IS-694) drawn through and including 20 mm dia PVC rigid conduit heavy grade ISI marked (IS-9537, Part-III) including accessories such as bends, supports etc all as specified for building security lights. (Note: 2 runs of 6 sq mm cable and one run of 6 sq mm cable and 1 run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit)

Cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cillis, sunshafes, shlves, lintels etc and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed counduit wiring, etc and making good, cutting not exc 10.cm girth.

Supply, install, test and commission indoor type feeder piller box (FPB) made of 2.0 mm thick CRCA factory made powder coating weather proof top canopy and protect from hight saline climate sheet front operated cubical type 3 phase 4 wire AC 415 V with necessary angle iron frame and MS channel for bottom base and separate compartment for MCCB/ electrical panel/ bus bar chamber with cubical type front and rear opening door (double door type) with locking arrangement with necessary hinges prewired with adquate size of cable and incoming and outgoing cable connections with cable glands lungs etc and bedded in suitable size PCC 1:3:6 type C1 platform etc complete all as specified with including the following :-

(a) 250 Amps Aluminium bus bar chamber for phase and half neutral. (b) MCCB 4 P 125A Amps (mincroprocessor release, Lcs=100% Icu- breaking capacity 16KA -01 Nos (c) RYB indication - 3 Nos (d) Ammeter digital type with ASS- 1 No (e) Voltmeter digital type with VSS- 1 No (f) MCCB 4P 63 amps (microprocessor release, Ics=100% Icu) breaking capacity 16 KA - 2 Nos (g) MCCB 4P 100 Amps (microprocessor release, Ics=100% Icu) braking capcity 16KA -02 Nos (h) CT 250/1A- 3 Nos (j) MCB 6 amps SP 10 KA- 3 Nos

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out in soft soil for laying of cables, foundation of poles, and stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying Sand coarse dry as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete as specified and as directed.

S&L well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks (using old size brick) laid in trenches above sand cushioning for cable protection complete.

Returning, filling in (Soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
