Supply and fixing on in replacement cast iron sluice valves ISI marked with hand wheel suitable for cast iron pipe of 150 mm bore, both ends flanged rating PN-1.6 ISI marked as per ISI marked as per IS 14846 with mild steel spindle as in repairs including jointing with nuts and bolts, washers and gasket etc. complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item Ser No. 03 but pipe of 200mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

3 Construction of masonry pits of following size 150x150x120 cm (internal ) for sluice valves with sub class ‘B’ bricks straight oir curved or plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM 1:6 PCC 1:3:6: in foundation, 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 on internal faces of walls, 40mm thick , PCC 1:2:4 in floors including valve pit cover made out of MS sheet 2 mm thick with angle iron 40x40x6 mm frame with fixing hinges, locking arrangements, hold fasts and handle etc duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of rex oxide primer including necessary excavation & earth work complete all as shown in drg No. STD-1106, Sh-1/1 and specified, including breaking of existing broken/ damaged valve pit. The contractor can utilize retrieved serviceable bricks. However retrieved angle iron frame and MS sheet cover scrap will be contractor’s property.

Material & labour for laying, jointing and testing ductile iron water pipes 200mm bore class K-9 conforming to IS, in any length including jointing with push on rubber tyton joints, as in trenches of following bore in new or old location. (Excavation, earth work, CI/DI specials and lead joints shall be measured and paid separately. However, the rate of rubber tyton joints shall be included in the unit rate quoted).

S & F fixing cast iron pipe with flanged and centrifugally casted class LA in any length 150mm bore in rising /supply main of O/H reservoir with rubber gasket, nuts & bolts with washers complete including required T&P. Make:- Electrosteel/ keshoram Note:- The required castigation scaffolding upto the height of 25 mtrs for opening and fixing of CI pipe of OH reservoir, Chain pulley Assy , lifting jack for holding vertical pipe and other misc T&P items shall be arrangement of the contractor and the contractor and the cost thereof shall be included in the unit rate quoted.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MAS pipe 200mm dia as in suction pipe of length 3metre each thickness of pipe not less than 6mm flanged on both sides with hole as per matching the existing complete all as specified and directed. Note for the purpose of measurement only pipe length shall be measured. The cost of flange shall be included in the unit rate quoted. Note:- The required T& P items shall be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof shall be included in the unit rate quoted.

Ductile iron fittings of size upto 300mm bore for spigot and socketed pipes e.g. Bands (any type, radius and angle). Tapers and type (Straight, end, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc). Tee pieces single branch, ‘Y’ junctions double branches, crosses (all sockets or socket and spigot) colars caps and plugs conforming to IS complete all as specified and directed. ( Excavation, earth work, & joints shall be measured and paid separately)

Materials and labour for drilling & tapping CI/DI/GI water mains of any size (in position) for branch connection of the internal dia of size 30mm including supply and fixing plain brass ferrules screwed both end 20mm bore and necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting of road/PCC path upto the depth of pipes and making good the disturbed surface with PCC 1:2:$ (20mm aggregate) using extra cement including earth work complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up/out cast iron with flanged end centrigugaly casted class LA in any length 150mm bore including all fittings with spigot and socketed ends or flanged ends including burn out lead joints or dismantling flanged joints for pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking up/out MS pipe upto 200 mm dia of any description including all fittings with spigot and socketed ends or flanged ends including burn out lead joints or dismantling flanged joints for pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The required T & P items arranged by the contractor and cost thereof shall be included in the unit rate quoted.

Cutting existing cast iron pipe upto 150mm bore of any description for insertion of fittings and setting the pipe in proper alignment complete all as specified and directed. (Excavation earth work and fittings shall be measured and specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.
