Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of High Mast Light System of 16 Metre height continuously tapered, complete with its accessories shall be in two section with material as BS-EV10 025,S355 with cross section as 20 sided polygon, single dipping, hot dipped galvanised and suitable for wind velocity as per IS 875( Part 3) 1987 and only longitudinal weld confirming to BS 5153/AWS. Make: Bajaj / Wipro / Philips as approved by GE. The High mast shall be comprising of the following technical specifications : (a) High Mast shall have open raft shallow footing as foundation as per manufacturers design as per IS-456 and with 8 nos foundation bolts manufactured from special steel alongwith nuts, washers, anchor plates and templates. (b) An adequate door opening such that permit clear acces to equipments like winch, cable, wire rope, plug and socket etc. and also facilitates easy removal of the winch for servicing. The door opening shall be complete with a close fitting vandal locking alongwith provision for external locking arrengements . (c) The structure of high Mast shall be designed to sustain an assumed maximum reaction of wind speed at the height of 10 Mtr above ground level (i.e. 180km/hr). (d) It shall also include accessories for high mast includes R&L system with double drum winch self lubricating & sustaining type having lifting capacity of SWL 750 kg, head frame, steel wire rope 6mm dia (7/19 construction) galvanised Lantern Carrige suitable for fixing of 9 lantern with 1 x 200 watt LED fitting each, symmetrically fixed.

(j) Weather proof hinged opening with locking arrangement at bottom of the mast for installation of winch and electric panel as per manufacturer recommendations. (k) Foundation RCC including design as per instructions of manufacturers recommendations suitable for 16 mtr high mast with accessories as detailed in respective items. NOTES: (i) Rate quoted against this item deemed to be included testing & commissioning of above high mast system. (ii) Excavation, earth work and PCC work of requisite grade and depth of foundation against High Mast Lights as per Manufacturer's instructions shall be deemed to have been quoted in quoted rates by contractor and nothing shall be paid seperately on this aspect. (iii) The quoted rate shall deem to be included all other accessories not specified above required for complete functioning of high mast lighting system. (iv) High Mast shall be installed under guidance of manufacturer's instructions. (v) cost of Earthing of poles shall also deemed to be included in quoted rates.
