PART I-A : SUB STRUCTURE
Earth work excavation over areas/Surface excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means to required profile, level, grade, camber etc. in all soils as mentioned below (in all depth, 1.50 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan area) for mass excavation including dressing of excavated area, filling the plinth/ low spots/ areas with approved excavated earth in layers not exceeding 150 mm, watering, consolidation to obtain 90% proctor density etc. and stacking/ disposing the surplus excavated materials within a lead of 300 m and all inherent lifts etc. to the required location etc complete all as per specification,drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, using RM500 or RM800 and its equivalent mixer machine, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Nominal Reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevant item.
P C C M10 grade in bed concrete to pilecaps, foundations, pedestal, encasing etc.
P C C/R C C M-15 grade in sub base flooring, foundation in pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection, encasing etc. Notes for Reinforced Cement Concrete i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge ii) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge iii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. iv)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. v) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned.M-Sand/River sand as approved by the engineer-in-charge shall be used for Mortar/concrete/ Plastering works. vi). For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a)Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b)Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by / through the dept. c) Making cutout whereever required including cutting the form works etc d)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000. and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor. e) Mix design shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer in charge for approval.
Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade as mentioned below in foundation and plinth at all levels and locations confirming to I.S. 456 and 13920 latest edition, using 20mm. maximum size down graded stone aggregate including use of RM500 or RM800 and its equivalent mixer machine, conveying,placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge, for the following.
M30 grade of reinforced cement concrete For all type of Structural / RCC elements with all geometrical shape and sizes
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work in foundation plinth at all locations for all geometrical shapes in plain,curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, where plastering to be done, including all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. i)Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment). ii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL and RINL only. The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.
Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), curing complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (i)The contractor shall get approved the samples / source of stones from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work ii) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
Brick work using clay bricks laid using cement mortar 1:6 as specified at all depths and heights , steel Tubular scaffolding, raking out joints curing etc.complete as per specification and as directed.
15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 in single coat at all locations to correct line, level, plane and plumb for storm water drain, chambers, steps etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Disposal of surplus excavated materials including crushing of cut pieces/boulders of soft/hard rock, loading, transporting, unloading, Filling and levelling in identified low lying areas within campus including installation of crusher machinery, collecting the stone boulders/pieces, crushing the bolders, transporting the crushed material by mechanical means within the campus, spreading & filling in layers not exceeding 150mm thick, watering, consolidation to obtain 90% proctor density and levelling including stacking the surplus crushed materials at the designated location as shown etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes: i) The excavated soft and hard rock materials shall be crushed to a grain size not more than 6mm (approx) by an automated/compact electrically operated crusher machine installed at site. ii) The crusher machine shall be installed and operated by the contractor for the work and no extra payment shall be payable for crusher machine. iii) The crusher machine shall be dismantled and taken away from the site after the work is completed at contractor's own cost. iv) The contractor shall clean the area on which crusher machine is installed and make it to original condition without any extra cost to the department.
Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard core soling of 230mm consolidated thickness in sub base to floor and in plinth protection to required levels and lines with first quality rubble, hand set, well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips of approved quality, supplying & finishing / blinding the surfaces with approved blinding quality murrum/ stone dust including watering, consolidation etc. complete as per specification drawings & as directed by Engineer in charge.
Supplying and spreading pesticides chlorpyriphos or other chemical approved by central insecticides board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti- termite treatment at the rate of 7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by the manufacturer ) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II. (The payment will be made on the basis of plinth area measurement only at ground floor/stilt area for all stages of operation and vertical face will not be measured for payment) all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge a) This item will be executed through approved agency who is a member of Indian Pest Control Association, approved by Central Insecticides Board. b)The contractor shall have to furnish ten years guarantee in the prescribed proforma as per Section-10 (iv) Conditions and clauses of contract-2008, to maintain the anti-termite treated area/structure free from termite c) Prior approval of Engineer in Charge shall be obtained after testing the chemical for antitermite to be used and shall be tested in approved laboratory and to be submitted to Engineer in Charge . Cost of testing shall be included in the rates quoted.
Providing and laying damp proof course 38mm thick at plinth level in cement concrete 1:2:4 using 10mm. maximum size and down graded stone aggregate, mixed with approved water proofing compound at 2% by weight of cement laid to levels, slopes etc. including applying a coat of hot bitumen of grade 80/100 at 17 kg./10 sq.m. including cost of form work, curing all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing and laying patent box type cement based water proofing treatment of approved agency for basement raft, lift well & trenches etc. at all levels & locations as per specification of the water proofing agency including cleaning of surfaces, curing and testing the pit for water tightness, rectification of defects if any, etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge as per the following. a) Providing 50 mm to 70mm thick water proofing treatment for base / floor consisting of i) Ist layer Kota stone of approx. size 600x600x20mm thick of approved quality rough stone slab over a 25mm thick base of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 course sand) mixed with waterproofing compound conforming to IS:2645 in the recommended proportion. Joints sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in proportions recommended by the manufacrurer ii) 2nd layer of 25mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3 coarse sand ) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10mm to 12mm nominal size spreading@ 8cudm/sqm thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer b) Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on the vertical surface by fixing kota stone of approx. size 600x600x25mm thick of approved quality,(rough stone slab) with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in recommended proportion with a gap of 20mm (minimum) between stone slabs and the receiving surfaces and filling the gaps with neat cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the exterior stone slab with cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) 20mm thick with neat cement punning mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion complete at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. i)The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer -in-Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. ii) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab or junction etc. iii) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section-10 conditions and clauses of contract for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treatment in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/defects iv) The Contractor shall keep the pit/R C C trench filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the pit/R C C trench be kept Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over , if found necessary by the Engineer- in-Charge.
TOTAL OF PART 1 - A : (Sub Structure)
PART I-B : SUPER-STRUCTURE (STRUCTURAL) i) Super structure items included in this schedule pertains to all the works above plinth level upto roof including parapets, water tanks,machine room, terrace level works etc. unless specified otherwise. Notes for Reinforcement Cement Works a) All RCC works shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. b) The water tank work shall be as per IS 3370 -2009 latest edition c)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and formwork unless otherwise mentioned. d)All coarse aggregate to be 20mm. maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. e)For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Dept. i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, fan hooks, other pipe specials etc.supplied by/ through the Department. iii)Cut out in slabs, construction joints etc. f)Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor
Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30 in super structure for all type of Structural / RCC Elements with all geometrical shape conforming to IS 456 and 13920 latest edition, at all floors and levels for all structural members in all geometrical shapes/ design as per drawings using graded stone aggregate of 20mm and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge.

PART - I-C : FORM WORK i) For double/ multi stage shuttering design calculations and details / drawings for scaffolding shall be submitted by the contractor well in advance. Prior written approval of form work shall be obtained from Engineer in Charge, before commencement of work. ii) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. iii)The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and all geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces at all level and floors including single/multiple staging etc. complete.
Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work including single /multiple staging at all level & locations for all geomatrical shapes in plain/curved surfaces of structural / R C C elements and including rails, bracings, props, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in Charge. (Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment & stop boards for construction joints etc. will not be measured for payment).
Providing ,erecting fixing centering Shuttering work using ply board to obtain form finished concrete surfaces of F3 finish to ceilings at all floors, heights & locations including single / multiple staging at all floors and locations for all geomatrical shapes in plane , curved surfaces of structural / R C C elements including chamfers splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting hole for pipes etc. providing and applying approved form oil to all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete and skirting / removal of the same including finishing by filling form -tie - holes , removal of fins , ridges, and irregularities by grinding filling air holes, with sack rubbed finish cleaning up loose and adhering debris including all materials labour etc. Complete as per specifications drawings and directed by Engineer in charge.

PART - I-D : STEEL REINFORCEMENT WORK
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying steel bars of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting,bending placing in position and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor & shall not be measured for payment).

Total of PART I-D : (STEEL REINFORCEMENT)
PART - I-E : MASONRY WORK (a)The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work (b)Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm and half brick wall as 115 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. d) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Brick masonry in super structure at all floors and locations using solid autoclave aerated concrete bricks/ blocks from approved manufacturers conforming to IS2185 (part 3) latest edition in CM1:6 in walls to correct line, level and plumb including racking out joints, curing, scaffolding, etc complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Providing solid autoclave aerated concrete brick/block work 115mm thick in partition walls, dwarf walls, parapets, under platforms, curtain walls, fins,external boxing etc. at all floors and locations as per drawing, conforming to IS2185 (part 3) latest edition in C.M 1:4 to correct line, level & plumb including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete as per specifications drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. i) With 115mm.wide and 80mm. thick RCC (1:2:4) stiffeners at every one metre height including formwork but excluding the cost of steel reinforcement, which shall be paid under relevant item. ii)Without RCC stiffeners for support walls, nitches etc.
TOTAL OF PART I-E : Masonry Work
PART -I-F : FLOORING & CLADDING WORK a) The floor finish level shall be generally in level matching with the surrounding floor finish level & as per drawing. No extra payment shall be entertained for matching the floor differences. b) Adjustment of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department. c) The contractor shall submit and get approved the sample for flooring, skirting, dado tiles from Engineer in charge before bulk procurement. d) Pattern & design of flooring/ skirting/ dado shall be approved by the Engineer in charge before commencement of work. e) Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the works like Kotah, Marble, Granite etc.shall be machine cut and shall have uniform thickness and mirror polished unless otherwise mentioned. f) The rate shall include cost of making the flooring to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. g) All Kota stone work shall be mirror polished to get high gloss finish and the rate shall be inclusive of the same in the respective item. h) Wherever dissimilar floor finishes are placed adjacent 3mm thick x 25mm wide aluminium flat dividing strips shall be provided by the contractor without any additional cost to the Department. i)The sizes of tiles mentioned are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the reuired size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly.
Providing & laying at all floors & locations vitrified tile marbonate of M/s. H & R Johnson (I) Ltd. or as per quality of approved manufacture of complete range of marbonate series or approved making in all colour conforming IS-15622 including series of 600x600mm size, having 8.5mm thickness (or shall be as per manufacturers specification) in flooring / skirting / dado/ clading at all floors and location in approved pattern and colour laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and grouted with white cement slurry and including 3 mm thick and 8 mm deep grout line using PVC spacers for creating true alignment and gap between vitrified tile flooring & Skirting at apecified places as per drawings / as directed and grouting the joints with matching cementitous tile grout mixed with approve tile additived of M/s Dr fixit or approved equivalent and approved pigment as per manufacturer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings / cut out if neccesary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge.
In flooring using tiles of size 600X600/600X1200 laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 sand) bedding
In skirting using tiles of size 600X100 laid over 12mm thick CM 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 sand) backing.
Providing & laying at all floors & locations Anti skid vitrified tile marbonate of M/s. H & R Johnson (I) Ltd. or as per quality of approved manufacture of complete range of marbonate series or approved making in all colour conforming IS-15622 including series of 600x600mm size, having 8.5mm thickness (or shall be as per manufacturers specification) in flooring / skirting / dado/ clading at all floors and location in approved pattern and colour laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and grouted with white cement slurry and including 3 mm thick and 8 mm deep grout line using PVC spacers for creating true alignment and gap between vitrified tile flooring & Skirting at apecified places as per drawings / as directed and grouting the joints with matching cementitous tile grout mixed with approve tile additived of M/s Dr fixit or approved equivalent and approved pigment as per manufacturer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings / cut out if neccesary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge.
In flooring laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 sand) bedding
Providing and laying at all floors and levels 6mm.(min.) thick or as per specifications of approved manufactuer first quality glossy / matt / antiskid / rustic / digital with glazed finish ceramic tile for flooring /dado/ cladding as per the approved pattern and colour as mentioned below of M/s H . R Johnson (I) Ltd. / M/s. Somani / M/s. Kazaria laid in cement mortar bedding / backing, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings /cutout if necessary, wastage and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc.complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge. The sizes of tiles mentioned below are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the reuired size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly.
In Flooring with matt finished/ antiskid tile of size 300x300mm/600x600mm laid over 20mm thick cement mortar bedding 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
In dado/ clading of size 300x300/450/600mm with approved design/ pattern etc. tile laid over 12 mm thick Cement mortar bedding 1:3 (1cement :3 sand) backing. PVC corner bedding/nosing of approved quality and colour at the corner and edges of the tiles including finishing and embedding in the wall etc. complete all as directed by the engineer- in- charge.

PART I-G : DOORS AND WINDOWS a)The items of door frames, window frames shall include sealing the joints all round with the brick work /concrete and doors or windows with approved mastic filler cement grout/ epoxy compound /polysulphide compound or by any other means whatsoever, by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints watertight. b)The work contemplated under the item for supplying and fixing the window/door frames shall be got done by the contractor through specialised agencies in the field, approved by the Department. c)One sample each of the door frame, shutter and window with all fittings and fixtures alongwith locking arrangement including glass panes etc. complete as per schedule of quantities drawing and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawings for windows, ventilators and steel door with frames showing dimensional details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-charge. After preliminary inspection, the sample should be fixed. Defects etc.if any shall be rectified to the full satisfaction of the Department and after obtaining formal approval in writing of Engineer in charge. d)Door frames, shutters and the windows to be supplied and fixed in position should cater the dimensional tolerance of the openings to an extent of (+/-) 2%. The rates quoted by the Tenderers should hold good for such variation. Test shall be conducted by the Department for the flush doors as per IS-2202-1983 Part-I from each consignment and the cost incurred on this account shall be borne by the contractor. e)For bonding the flush doors, block boards, ply wood and all types of wood works, phenol- formaldehyde synthetic resin type adhesives conforming to IS-848-1957 shall be used. f)The rate shall include cost of making the doors & windows etc. in all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.

TOTAL OF PART -I-H: Fittings & Fixtures
PART - I-I ~ WATERPROOFING TREATMENT: a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer in Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section 10 (iii) of Conditions and Clauses of Contract - 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over the flats, if found necessary by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc mixing with waterproofing compound as per IS : 2645 :2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface to receive the China Mosaic waterproofing treatment. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer in Charge.
Extra for additional thickness of brick bat coba over and above standard average thickness of 115 mm. for effective slope wherever required.
Filling in bath, W/C, toilet, depressed areas with water proofing brick bat coba of the agency approved by the Dept. at all floors and locations upto the required level and making the surface finished suitable to receive floor finish etc. all complete as per drawings and water proofing agency's specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C., Kitchen and the like consisting of : i) 1st course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4. Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound `Impermo' of Snowcem or equivalent conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions. ii) IInd course of cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions, 20mm thick up to finished floor level and 15mm thick above finished floor level up to 600mm. iii) IIIrd course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 Kg per sqm of area. iv) IV th course of 200 micron thick PVC sheet (Overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100 mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @ 1.7 Kg/sqm.)
Providing cement based waterproofing treatment by 'Injection & Surface' method of the agency approved by the dept. cement based water proofing treatment of 50 mm. and 25mm. thick for the floor and walls respectively of the over head water tank on terrace, finished perfectly smooth to correct line, level and plumb including preparing the existing surfaces, necessary scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per waterproofing agency's specifications and testing water tank for the water tightness and rectification of defects, if any, to render the outer surface bone dry etc. complete as per specifications, drg. & as directed by the Engineer in charge

PART I - J : PLASTERING WORK : a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
Cement plaster of 15mm thickness in single coat with cement mortar 1:4 mix for internal brick / concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions etc. at all floors, heights, slopes and locations on plane or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required, prepare the surface even and smooth to correct line, level, plane and plumb including scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge
Cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 at all locations including water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement, preparing the surfaces, finishing with neat coat cement to correct line, level and plumb, curing etc. as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge
External cement plaster of following type of 20 mm thickness in two coats for brick/ concrete surfaces (back coat and finishing coat of 10 mm. thick each) with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement in cement mortar 1:4 at all heights and locations including drip mould scaffolding, preparing the surfaces, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level and plumb, curing including making grooves , vatas, plaster fluting (plaster in steps) etc. where ever required complete as per specification and drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note:- No extra claim for making vatas150X150mm at junction of walls and chajjas, canopies etc.

PART : I-K ~ PAINTING :
Providing and applying 2mm thick Plaster of Paris punning to walls, beams, ceilings, columns in perfect line and level over the base of single coat cement plaster including roughening of existing surface making 6 mm groove at skirting and door, window jamb, sill, lintel, etc. complete. The rate is exclusive of base coat cement plaster.
Providing and applying 1.5mm thick cement base wall care putty in two coats of M/s. Birla White at all floors and locations, plastered surfaces finished smooth to correct line, level, plane, plumb etc., including preparing the surfaces, scaffolding smoothen the putty surfaces with very fine water proof emery paper to get a glossy finish etc. complete as per specifications, as per manufacturers specifications, drawing & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Painting sand faced plastered /concrete surfaces with two coats of exterior grade Acrylic emulsion paint of M/s Asian Paint or at par approved manufacture and approved colour and shade over a coat of cement based water repellent paint of approved make and shade as mentioned below all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample including providing necessary scaffolding,cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge Note:- In case of RCC Jalli, both sides of the jalli shall be measured for payment.
Painting plastered /concrete surfaces with two coats of acrylic premium emulsion paint of approved colour over a coat of approved cement primer including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge

PART : I-L ~ MISCELLANEOUS WORKS One sample of each item should be submitted for preliminary inspection and approval before procurement /manufacturing on large scale. After the preliminary inspection and approval, the sample should be fixed at site or kept in the office of the Engineer-in-charge till completion of the work.
Structural steel work at all levels and locations in guard bars, grills,guard bars, for windows, covers, frame for pit/trench, truss, purlins for skylight, cover bracket for slanting chajja , trap door,railing, balcony hand railing, hoisting hooks,smoke vents etc. using angles, channels, tees, flats, bars ,chequered plates, tubular sections etc. of required sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, making holes/chases wherever required and fixing /embedding in position in concrete/brick work/marble/granite stone with necessary hold fasts/stainless steel screws & rawl plugs by drilling etc.and finishing the concrete/ brick work after fixing/embedding including painting two coats of anticorrosive bitumastic paint on all unexposed surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all exposed surfaces over a coat of approved primer etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Supplying and fixing in position GI pipe ladder for PH shafts and at terrace for overhead water tank, using 'B' class (medium duty)GI pipes of following dia. for verticals and steps at 300 / 450 mm. long, placed @ 300 mm. centre to centre for steps, welded properly to the verticals, providing necessary bracings, hold fasts etc. at all levels and anchoring the ladder with necessary brackets fixed in cement concrete 1:2:4, finishing including painting all exposed surfaces with two coats of approved anticorrosive bitumastic paint etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (and) Providing 300mm high G.I Pipe hand railing at top of RCC staircase pardi, consisting of 42mm dia N.B medium quality G.I Pipe top runner welded to 32mm dia N.B medium grade G.I pipe verticals ( with additional 100 mm for embedding in concrete) at 600 mm centre to centre or at suitable distance as shown in drawing at one end and other ends embedded in the RCC pardi with suitable hold fasts and concrete/ mortar, including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour over a coat of approved primer after applying 'etch' primer etc. complete all as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. (and) Providing and fixing 40mm dia and 'B' class (medium quality) GI pipe 42mm dia for sleeves and spouts etc at floors and locations including cutting of pipes as required, bending and embedding in masonry/ concrete work or burrying underground with necessary cement mortar making good the surfaces, finishing/ cleaning etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing & fixing stainless steel pipe hand rail at main staircase & lobby, balcony, other stainless steel works such as spool pieces, pipe sleeves, grab bars at all floors & levels conforming to 304grade of steel, of schedule 10-S, having 1m height approximately, as per pattern & design in drawing including necessary S.S bend, tees, welding / nut-bolt necessary anchoring polishing and fixing in concrete/brick wall with S.S lugs, making pockets, concreting, making good the surfacesetc. as per specifications drawings and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Supplying & fixing in position at all floors and locations approved colour anodised (25 micron thick), aluminium section for structural glazing etc. of appr- oved manufactures with extruded sections of Jindal or Hindalco of design as as shown in the drawing, section should be cut to required size and then colour anodised the facade be fixed to the structure through powder coated M S brackets and anchor fasteners (M/s Hilti only) , the mullions are to be connected to bracket by stainless steel 304 grade nut bolts, sufficient provision be made to allow free movements of components due to temperature, deflection of R.C.C. structure etc. without inducing stresses in a structure, including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications, drawing and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and fixing 8mm thick, reflective toughned Glass in approved colour of M/s Glaverbel, Belgium or equivalent, silicon sealant structural grade and weathering grade shall be DOW Corning USA or G.E silicon - USA or WACKER Germany of Silicon bite size as per design including providing and fixing both side adhessive tape NORTON make or TROCILLEN and also using backer foam of TROCILLEN as per drawing complete as per specification and standard sound practices using all necessary materials and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The detailed design and shop drawing shall be as per BIS code for requied wind pressure IS 875 Part III, and shall consider for thermal movements, air inflation, water penetration, seismic movement and structural movement complete as per specification. Approval of the department for the complete design and shop drawing shall be obtained before commencement of work.
Providing and Fixing in position Suspended false ceiling system using 600mm x 600mm x 12mm thick Calcium Silicate Ceiling tiles (AEROLITE fine fissured tile model - ceiling systems ) Tiles having 15mm densified edges and 100% humidity resistance, incombustible as per BS476 part IV with thermal conductivity of 0.043 w/m KC and approvred surface design and edge profile (TEGULAR/SPINTONE) placed in a suspended grid of size of 600mm x 600mm made of hot-dipped G.I steel sections having an exposed surface capping of pre-finished baked polyester painted coil wherein the main tee of size 24mm x 38mm x 0.33mm shall be suspended at 1200mm centres along the length of ceiling with 4mm diameter G.I wire with necessary level adjusters and cross tees of size necessary level adjusters and cross tees of size to slots between the main tees at 600mm centres and thereafter in direction vertical to the longer tees, cross tees of size 24 x 28 x 0.33mm x 600mm shall be inserted to form a grid size of 600 x 600 mm resting on the perifery walls on wall angles of size 20mm x 20mm x 3000 mm x 0.40 mm thickness. Openings for light fixtures, diffusers, trap doors etc is to be made as per layout drawings. The work shall be carried out as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. The main tees are to be suspended from the ceiling/ soffit with the help of metal dash fastners of 6mmx50mm, soffit cleats of 25mmx35x1.60mm and 4mm dia G.I wire with galvanised spring steel levelling clips. the entire grid system shall be designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 15 kg/Sq.m (Only calcium silicate false ceiling area will be measured for the purpose of payment)
Supplying, stacking, spreading and laying hard trap graded stone metal of size range 63 mm to 45 mm size of approved quality in transformer area including preparing the base, consolidation, spreading the metal in layer, levelling manually all as per specification, drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The measurement shall be actual stone laid without deduction of any void.
Providing & laying NP 2 class RC hume pipe of 300 mm dia including making holes in masonry/ concrete work wherever required, making good the holes after laying the hume pipe with collar joints using stiff mixture of cement mortar (1:2) and sealing open ends with wooden bush etc. all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Earthwork, road work and PCC for embedment shall be paid under relevant items)
Supplying and fixing GI Chain link fencing of required height with 50mm diamond mesh of approved quality and make with 4mm galvanized iron wires conforming to IS 2721 including unrolling, straightening, stretching, fixing tight to structural steel posts/MS flats and struts erected in position by means of 6mm dia approved quality galvanized iron machine straightened rods at top and bottom horizontally throughout fence and vertically at every angle post, fixed with approved quality galvanized iron U hooks, bolts, nuts and washers etc., complete as directed
Providing and fixing in position at all floors and levels, precast form finished RCC jalli of 75mm thickness of approved design and pattern with necessary steel reinforcement in suitable panels with necessary grooves in plaster generally as per drawing, in cement concrete of mix M20 using graded stone aggregate of 12mm, maximum size including machine mixing, form work, conveying, casting the jali, finishing, curing in tanks, transporting the jali, fixing the same in position in cement mortar 1:3 to the pattern as shown in the drawing scaffolding,curing etc., complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note : Reinforcement for RCC Jalli shall be measured and paid under relevant item.
Providing and fixing multi-wall polycarbonate sheet of 10mm thick of lexan make or its approved equivalent conforming to IS: 14443 having minimum 50micron UV Protection Coating at all elevation of approved colour and pattern, connecting sheets and fixing sheets to MS frame work with necessary accessories like aluminium profile beading at bottom and top of not less than 50mm wide, EPDM beading, self tapping metal screws not more than 300mm C/C, necessary bolts and nuts as per manufacturer's specifications in line, level including cutting to required size, supplying of all materials, filling the gaps / joints with GE siliconates, capping bottom edges/ exposed edges with aluminium beading, scaffolding wherever and whenever necessary etc., complete as specified and directed.

PIPES Supplying and laying below the ground or floor and fixing on exposed surface etc, the following diameter galvanised iron pipe line of specified class for water supply consisting the following items of work. i) Supplying galvanised Iron threaded Heavy Class pipe conforming to IS 1239 (part-I) with galvanised mild steel or wrought steel fittings conforming to IS 1239 (part-II), laying pipes and specials below the ground or floor for water supply in proper level and gradient. ii) Making leak proof joints including cutting the pipe to required length, preparation of pipe surface etc. iii) Testing the pipe line at hydraulic pressure of 1.5 times of working pressure for leak proof joints. iv) providing and fixing Wrapping 4 mm thick PYPKOTE (corrosion protection tape) including supply and v) Above Ground of ‘C’ class G.I. Pipe conforming to IS: 1239, with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of fire red for fire water pipe line alongwith necessary fittings and M.S. angle iron supports painted with black enamel paint, pipes to be duly tested to 1.5 times of working pressure , in an approved manner as per the given drawings, specifications or instruction of the Engineer in charge. HOSE CABINET
Supply, installation & commissioning of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet metal hose cabinet of size 750x650x250 mm for accomodating 02 nos. of hose pipes (measured & paid seperately under relevent SOQ item) and SS-304 branch pipe with nozzle . The box shall have front glass door lock with angle iron frame. The hose pipe box shall be fixed with Hilti make Anchor Fastner on the wall or nut bolts (in case of stand in open space) as shown in the drawing and as directed by EIC. The MS box shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside. Foundation For Pump: Providing and laying Design-Mix Reinforced Cement Concrete foundation (design and drawing to be provided by contractor) for various pumps of M-20 by weight batching using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including mechanical mixing and vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. as specified and also including dewatering, if any, cost of form work, shuttering & steel reinforcement, including nozing all around by 50 x 50 x 5 mm angle, all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directd by EIC.
Orifice Plate
Providing and fixing stainless steel orifice plate of not less than 6 mm thick having suitable bore for reducing the pressure at the fire hydrant outlet as per fire brigade requirement and to restrict the operating pressure within 3.5 kg/sq.cm. at the fire hydrant outlet at every floor. The orifice plate shall be fixed in position & it shall be fitted between the flanges. The orifice plates shall have test certificate and calibrated to give the required pressure.

Supply & installation of 300 mm dia heavy duty RCC Hume pipe of class 'NP3' to be laid in ground/from concrete cable trench to ground, for passing of cables with necessary joints, concrete supports. Scope includes escavation below ground level in all types of soil/concrete road cutting/foot path cutting, nallah cutting /any RCC wall/floor cutting including back filling, dewatering, consolidation, reinstatement of excess earth within the radius of 500 m and original,disposal making good to the original finish etc. spare space of hume pipes after cable laying and spares hume pipes shall be sealed properly with fireproof materials.
Supply, fixing & installation of pre mixed & ready to use M/s. HILTI make firestop foam CP 620 in 300ml bottle for sealing openings in electrical shafts, Telephone shaft, raceways & cutouts, hump pipes & where ever required & as per instruction of EIC.
Supply, fixing & installation of pre mixed & ready to use M/s. HILTI make firestop mortar CP 636 for sealing openings in electrical shafts, Telephone shaft, raceways & cutouts, hume pipes & where ever required & as per instruction of EIC.

Wall Mounted Fans Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 400 mm sweep wall mounted fan complete with blades, motor, scope includes supply of 3C copper 1.5 sq.mm. flexible cord of suitable length and fixing arrangement on wall as per instructions of EIC.
