Supply, lay / fix, connect and testing mild steel heavy duty ERW Class "C" grade pipes, in any length, including supply and fixing all MS fittings like bends, tees, tapers, reducers, flanges etc. ISI marked conforming to relevant IS and fixed to walls / ceiling or laid in trenches / floors, welding joints and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of red colour (of approved tint as per relevant IS) over a coat of zinc chrome red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes:-

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

M &L for renewal of valve pit chamber of size up to 95 cm x 95 cm x95 cm (internal dimension), stone/brick construction including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil,returning,filling in disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed,PCC in foundation for mix(1:4:8) type D2, brick mansonary in cement mortar(1:6) rendering 12mm thick in cement mortar(1:4) internally ,finished even and fair and pointing flush externally as the work proceeds in the same mortor.Mild steel angle iron 40 x40 x6 mm frame MS sheet cover 3.15mm thick with handle and locking arrangement, painting all exposed MS work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of black colour over a coat of zinc chrome red oxide primer and painting all the MS embeded in PCC with two coats of black bitumenous paint complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing of serviceable pipe retrieved from item No. 5.00 including jointing/welding with required fittinge etc , complete all as specified and directed for the following bores.

Supply and fix in replacement of unserviceable gun metal fire hydrant oblique type single outlet 63mm dia instantenous type 'A' conforming to IS: 5290, complete all as specified and directed. Make Newage/ Essel

Supply and lay / fix controlled percolating hose pipe conforming to IS 8423/1994 with ISI marked, 63mm bore and 30m long including suitable brass coupling, conforming to relevant IS, as laid / fixed in repairs in any location / position and disposing off old hose complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 63 mm dia CP Hose, 15 Meter length shall be non-percolating type conforming to IS 636 including brass coupling, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for scraping cleaning surface of fire hose cabinet of any type/size internal, and preparation of entire surface and applying two coat of Synthetic enamel paint ( Red Post Office colour outside and brilliant white olour inside) including writing, marking box Nos in stencil all as specified and directed.

M&L for surface cleaning with wire brush, sand paper, removing dust dirt, washing with water, cleaning, drying surface and applying two coat of synthetic paint (Red Post Office external or internal) over a coat of zinc chrome red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs fire brigade inlet connection 2 way conforming to IS 5290, 63mm dia all as specified as directed.

M& L for fabrication, installation of fire stand duly made out of angle iron frame of size 40x6 mm thick for canopy support of length 2 mtr and width 1.5 mtr sloping at middle portion, including canopy cover made out of MS sheet 3 mm thick with provision for hanging 6 Nos Fire buckets incl mounting hook etc complete duly painted with 2 coats of PO synthetic enamel paint red and grouting the supporting legs in PCC 1:3:6 at a location shown at site and comprising of the following: (a) GI fire bucket - 6 Nos. (b) Fire beater - 1 No. (c) Fire hook - 1 No. (d) ABC type fire Extinguisher of 5 Kg - 1 Nos (e) Foam type fire Extinguisher of 5 Kg - 1 Nos (f) CO2 type fire Extinguisher of 5 kg - 1 Nos (g) Excavation & earthwork as required in any strata. M&L for repair of damaged portion of MS pipe of 200mm size by cutting the pipe and welding both internally & externally and testing for leakage complete including removing material/scrap generated during the work, both internally & externally all as specified and as directed. Note:(a)Rate quoted includes deployment of skilled manpower like welder, fitter, and unskilled manpower. (b) Contractor should provide necessary arrangement for welding /cutting equipments at site and prior permission to be taken from Engr-in-charge before starting welding works. (c) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately.
