Disconnecting the electric supply to the transformer, opening the transformer by unscrewing bolts from the top cover of the transformer, draining out of transformer oil into a container upto required level for arresting the leakage in the transformer, taking down of unserviceable HV and LV bushes from the transformer if necessary, replacement of top cover gasket, HV and LV side bushes gasket, buchholz relay gasket, bolts, nuts and washers, with new ones required. Soldering work if necessary while fixing the bushes, and re-fixng the same for transformer of capacity upto 250 KVA complete including testing the transformer after repairs all as specified and directed. Note : (i) HT / LT metal studs, HT / LT bushes and gaskets of HT and LT side will be measured and paid for seperately as supply only under Sl Nos 5 to 16 here-in after. (ii) Nuts, bolts, washers, petrolium jelly, grease, CTC required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. M&L, locating fault in 11 KV HT underground cable of any sizes with the help of fault locator vehicle organized from TSSPDCL/TSTRANSCO by injecting necessary high voltage to the faulty cable within 12 hours of time from time of reporting of fault all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Disconnecting the electric supply, removing the HT cable connections of the defective Distribution transformer 11 / 440 V upto 1000 KVA capacity, outdoor / indoor type any make, taking down from platform with the help of crane suitable for lifting upto 1000 KVA Transformer or using lifting jacks, loading into goods carrier with load capacity to load upto 1000 KVA Transformer and transporting the same carefully to workshop for necessary repairs, taking all necessary precautions to avoid possible damage during transit and returning the same after carrying out repairs and re-installation at the same location using crane, re-establishing connections on HV and LV sides complete all as directed. Note: Hire charge for crane and Trailer, charges for loading / unloading and transportation are deemed to be included in quoted rate. Any damage to the transformer by the contractor during dismantling, transporting and re-assembling of transformer shall be made good without any extra cost to government. 32. Opening top cover upto 1000 KVA capacity transformer, opening of top cover and draining out the Transformer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and cleaning all healthy parts including coils, laminations, tank, tap changer including sleeves, drying of assembled core and winding in oven upto required IR values, re-assembly of transformer by tanking the dried core and winding assembly, fixing of all oil valves, fittings of accessories, making terminal connections to external bushings, including painting of transformer tank externally with two coats of enamel paint and internally with two coats oil resistant paint, complete Routine tests, replacing unserviceable LV / HV bushings, washers, oil seal, gaskets of inspection cover, radiators, HT Cable box, LT cable box with new ones if necessary complete all as specified and directed. 1 Each Job Excess(+) Full Conversion INR
Note : (i) HV / LV bush, copper insulation of LV / HV, transformer oil, LV / HV coils, oil seal gaskets of inspection cover, radiators, HT Cable box, LT cable box will be measured and paid separately as 'Supply Only' under relevant items. Labour elements for fixing of spares / parts mentioned as 'Supply only' is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.
(ii) Transportation to Workshop and return will be measured and paid separately.(iii) Testing of transformer as specified at Sl item No 38 of BoQ will be measured and paid separately. (iv) Any hardware and minor items like nuts, bolts, washers, petroleum jelly, grease, CTC required for complete job are deemed to included in the quoted rate. (v) Filtration of transformer oil at site after installation will be measured and paid separately but for carrying out Routine tests after repairs in workshop shall be deemed to included in quoted rate.
(vi) All routine tests shall be carried out on Transformer in the presence of representative nominated by the Accepting Officer before dispatch of Transformer after carrying out repairs to the work site. (vii) Contractor shall submit 12 months guarantee for no oil leakage in transformer from certified date of commissioning of transformer and if any defects are noticed during this period the same shall be rectified free of cost. (viii) Painting, oven charges, labour for replacement of gasket, LT / HT bushes and breathers are measured and paid seperately
