M&L Preparation of new surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth of any description and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of redoxide primer on new steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frame(wooden/steel) not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frame(wooden/steel) exceeding 1.50 Sqm but not exceeding 4.0 Sqm each with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cutting holes in stone wall exc half brick and n.exc one brick in cement mortar for inserting hold fasts/lugs and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or 1:2:4 type B-1 concrete as required complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F MS work (flat iron) 25mm x 3mm thick in small articles such as hold fast and similar small articles conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 including taking down existing one complete all as directed.

M&L 30mm thick Glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. divided into squares, with plain, chamfered or rounded, mitred and rebated sash bars, any numbers, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc.; sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a); all as specified and directed.

M&L Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.4mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Floor door stopper of aluminium alloy body and tongue anodized with hard drawn steel spring fixed in floor overall 140mm complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 28 :- (a) Paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

M&L Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS Square tube complete all as specified .

M&L Factory made Solid PVC Door Shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails. M&L Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in skirting/dado. etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 including taking down existing tile and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 44 & 45 :- (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.

M&L 18/19mm thick Prelaminated particle board, interior Grade, prelaminated one side with decorative choice lamination and other side balancing white lamination, fixed with screws to timber frame work including taking down complete all as specified and as directed.
