| 1.00 | Supply, installation & commissioning in replacement of 24V/40A Float Cum Boost Battery Charger unit including battery bank comprising 02 Nos of 12 Volts-100 AH sealed maintenance free battery. The CCCV battery charger consisting of copper wound, air cooled transformer, 01 Set single phase full wave bridge rectifier consisting of diodes and SCRs, liberally rated mounted on heat sink and complete with resistor/condenser network for surge supperssion. During auto float mode automatic changeover shall take place from float mode to boost mode and vice versa, 01 Set of solid state constant potential controller to stabilize the DC output voltage of the float cum boost charger, 01 No electronic controller , DC digital ammeter, DC digital voltmeter, Potentiometer, DC, MCB for reverse battery protection. The charger should have alarm annunciation with visual and audible alarm with manual reset facility for fuse fail alarm. Float cum boost battery charger and DC distribution board shall be housed in powder coated sheet steel cubicle with panels of 1.6mm thickness, louvers for ventilation, gland plate will be provided for cable entry from bottom . The battery charger shall be divided into two compartments. The upper compartment shall house the battery charger & DCDB with all necessary controls. The lower compartment shall be suitable for housing the batteries. Tech specifications shall be as under:-
(a) Input working voltage-180 -270 Volts, (b) Nominal Input Voltage - 230 V , AC , 50 Hz,1, (c) On load input power factor - > 0.8, (d) On load unit watt efficiencies-> 80% , (e) No load losses of complete charge-< 10% , (f) Ripple contents on the load (RMS)= 1% to 5% , (g) Over load - 110% for 30 minutes and will give visual indication for over load condition, (h) Boost charging - 2.4 V/Cell, (j) Float charging -2.15 V/Cell, (k) Float cum boost charging-Automatically changes from one state to another state as per battery condition and will give the visual indication for either float or boost based on charging mode, (l) Reverse polarity -No damage will caused . (i) Primary Injection Test of outdoor CT / PT, (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles, (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition, (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles, (v) Closing coil resistance, (vi) Tripping coil resistance.
(c) Testing of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :-
(i) Over current and earth fault relay, (ii) Line diffrential relay.
(d) Testing of followig Aux relay:-

(vi) Visual check for rust and deformation, (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc, (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires, (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing, (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any, (xi) Check close & trip coil, (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust, (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required, (xiv) Applying of epoxy Paint for Support /Spouch insulator,CTs,PTs, and epoxy body at inside of VCB for improvment of resistance value, (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers, (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor.
(b) The following test shall be carried out:-
