Rate contract for Providing Aviation Obstruction Light, Lightning Spike, Earthing, Service Connection for NBSNL BTS cell sites

SUB HEAD I: SITC of Aviation Obstruction Light (AOL) of low intensity fixed type conforming to the ICAO regulation with minimum Directional (radial) intensity of 32 cd. Polycarbonate Glass optical lens with 38mm dia pipe entry and provision for cable including provision of day light sensor and fixing on the top of the tower with suitable arrangement including minor modifications to the existing bracket etc., as required. (Degree of protection IP: 54)

Supplying and laying of 2 core 1.5sq mm. PVC/XLPE insulated armoured copper conductor outer sheath of 1.1KV grade on the existing cable tray with locking tags/on surface of wall/ ceiling /floor with clamps/in the GI pipe etc. as required.

Supplying and making end termination to the 2x1.5 Sq.mm armoured copper cable with suitable Brass compression gland and lugs etc. as required.

SUB HEAD II: TOWER EARTHING AND LIGHTENING CONDUCTOR Supply and installation of Maintenance free Chemical Earthing with following components complete with excavation, civil works, including Labor Charges for completing the process, Installation, commissioning & Testing of earthing pits etc., as required. i) A hole of 100mm to 125mm dia shall be augured /dug to a depth of about 2.8 meters. ii) Earthing electrode shall be made of high tensile low carbon steel circular rod ,molecularly bonded with copper with minimum thickness 250 Microns of 17 mm dia 3m long with UL Certified.(ENgraving UL MArk/Name of Manufacturer/ Batch no) iii) Back filled component of Non-bentonite chemical i.e.earth enhancement material (Minimum approximate 30-35 KGs). iv) Copper strip of 300x25x6 mm, to terminate earth rod -1 no(To be clamped/ exo thermally welded to earth electrode) V) Construction of Earth Pit Inspection Chamber with heavy duty FRP Material of suitable size/ Cement brick with MS cover plate/ Cement Concrete box with CC cover plate . VI) Providing and fixing of bimetallic strip of suitable length and size for interconnection of chemical earth with the outgoing GI strip. (Note:The agency has to supply and install BSNL Empanelled chemical earthing of JMV PS Limited/Pragati Electrocom(P) Ltd,Gurgaon/M/S TRue power limited or SS Make)

Providing Earthing with G.I. earth plate of 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Fixing of G.I. strip 25X5mm thick in the Ground/in the existing pipe/on surface of wall or on the existing metal tray etc. as reqd. (Strip will be supplied by the Department and the vendor has to make arrangement for transportation from store to the respective sites)

Providing and fixing of 40 mm dia Medium Class G.I. pipe on surface of wall/in ground with necessary bends, clamps including excavation and re-filling etc. complete as required.

Laying of 35 sqmm multistrand single core PVC/XLPE insulated copper conductor cable from Main earth electrode to DC earth busbar i/c terminations with cu lugs on surface/recess/ in the existing pipe etc., as required (Cable will be supplied by the Department and the vendor has to make arrangement for transportation from store to the respective sites. )

Providing and fixing of Lightning conductor finial made of 25mm dia and 600 mtr Long GI tube having single prong at with 85mm dia 6mm thick GI base plate i/c holes etc., as required.

Fixing of 20 mm X 3 mm G.I. strip along the tower/Wall with suitable insulators /clamps fixed at suitable interval etc., as required.(For Vertical Run, Strip will be supplied by the Department and the vendor has to make arrangement for transportation from store to the respective sites)
