ALL CABLE CONNECTIONS TO THE PIPELINE SHALL BE MADE BY AN APPROVED (BY OWNER) PIN BRAZING PROCESS. A SUITABLE WATER PROOF SEALING SYSTEM OF THE CABLE CONNECTIONS SHALL BE MADE WHICH WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH PARENT COATING SYSTEM OF THE PIPELINE AFTER PIN BRAZING. THE RESISTANCE OF CABLE TO PIPE AT PIN BRAZING CONNECTION POINT SHALL NOT EXCEED 0.1 OHM. EUTECTIC SOLDER SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR CHARGED OR NON-CHARGED PIPELINE. PIPE COATING SHALL BE REPAIRED AFTER CONNECTION OF CABLE TO PIPELINE. THE COATING REPAIR MATERIAL SHALL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ORIGINAL COATING AND SHALL PREVENT INGRESS OF WATER ALONG CABLE SURFACE AND AT THE INTERFACE OF COATING REPAIR WITH ORIGINAL PIPE COATING. VENDOR HAS TO ENSURE NO CP CURRENT DRAINAGE AFTER COMPLETION OF WORK AT THE POINT OF PIN BRAZING.
