Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil including cutting of grass, roots, bushes if any and filling of lower portion with soil obtained from cutting and dressing and removing from site all grass, roots and extra soil if any complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil including cutting of grass, roots, bushes if any and filling of lower portion with soil obtained from cutting and dressing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Excavation in post holes in soft/loose soil n. exc 0.50 cum each, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n. exc 25 cm including removing of surplus spoil to a distance n exc 50 mtr and making good the disturbed surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe and laying new pipe line, for laying cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Returning and filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Labour for earth filling under floor/plinth, around soakwell, removing, spreading, levelling in layers n exc. 25 cm thick (each layer) consolidating the surface with Durmat/hand roller, rolling to required gradient and camber and upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including levelling, well ramming including watering as required and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Extra Earth obtain form excavation shall be re-used.
Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note:- (i) Flat iron for securing wire mesh is to measured in this item. (ii) Machine made screw nut bolt shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of this Schedule as supply only but labour for fixing shall be included in this item.
Supply only mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 5mm to 10mm dia neck, length of bolt exceeding 5cm but not exceeding 10cm long, with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, to be fitted with washers 3mm thick and one hexagonal or square nut, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down wooden shutters only of any description area exceeding 1.0 sqm and not exceeding 2.0 sqm each and refixing in same opening after necessary easing, adjustments, minor repairs etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.
Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames, wooden/PVC doors) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.
Supply and fixing solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out 5mm thick plain clour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube including painting of edges to match with sheet, all as specified & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8095 in MES Schedule SSR-2010 (Part-II), fixed in opening complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing factory made solid core PVC door shutter 30mm thick (stiles) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes of 19mm gauge thickness and size of 19mmx19mm for stiles and for top and bottom rails 15mmx15mm. MS frame shall have a coat of red oxide primer of approved make and shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC sheet, 'C' channel of size 30x50mm forming stiles and 5mm thick wide PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles, and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side and 10mm (5x2mm) thick, 20mm thick PVC sheet to be fitted in MS frame welded/ sealed to the stiles and rails with 30mm wide x 5mm thick PVC sheet beading on either side and joined together with solvent cement adhesive and an additional 5mm thick PVC strips of 20mm width is to be stuck on interior side of C channel using PVC solvent adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions, door to be fixed to frame with and including 3 Nos MS powder coated butt hinges of size 100mm long x 25mm wide and 2mm thick and 32mm long steel screws drilled suitable to pass through both the walls of the MS tube complete all as specified in SSR-2009 (Part-I, specifications) & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8080 in SSR-2010 (Part-II, rates). The width of stiles & rails will be in proportion to the width of the door shutter as specified in SSR-2010 (Part-II). complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying XLPE LT Cable of size 16 Sqmm, 2 core, 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with XLPE insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Supply and filling Local sand cushioning , with dry and clean sand, over and under the under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick to the authorized width as per SSR–Part-I before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- For measurement purpose puned thickness shall be measured and paid i.e 18cm.)
Supply and laying Best quality, locally available, sub class ‘B’ bricks (Old Size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing/laying GI tubing, light grade, 25 mm bore for protection of cable under hardstanding/fixed along poles/wall, laid in in trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing exhaust fan 300 mm sweep (BEE, 5 star rated) with louvres, 230V, single phase AC supply, 04 No bolts grouting in wall in PCC (1:2:4) using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate for hanging the fan and making good the disturbed surface as per existing surfaces, fixing the fan by bolts and washers and connection to fan with suitable flexible twin core round copper wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity GI wire 4 mm (upto test point from earth plate i.e. 7.5m min) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 15mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point, including making of test point made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos- 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screw. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, CI cover 10mm thick hanged to CFI frame, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
