Fabrication, Providing, Installation and testing of MS gantry at Lift irrigation scheme Ujroo of MISD Handwara. The job comprises of the following process and involvement of materials. Specifications: a) Length of horizontal post = 3000 mm b) Height of vertical post = 6000mm Column supports for Gantry: Fabrication, Providing and Fitting of 02No column supports for the gantry. The column supports shall be fabricated out of ISMB-150. The height of each MS post shall be 5000 mm. The two ends of the column supports have to be provided with MS plate of size 300x300x08mm by way of welding. The plates are to be drilled with 4 No. of holes so that plate of column supports and plates of I beam shall be joined with the help of nuts and bolts and welding as well. Fabrication and fitting of ladder steps to be fab. out of ISA 30x30x5mm (10 feet long) on the vertical column supports at suitable intervals. Main I-beam of Gantry: One No. I beam of size ISMB-200, length=3000mm shall have to be laid horizontally on the vertical column supports. The two ends of the I-beam shall have to be provided with MS plate of size300x300x08mm by way of welding. The plates are to be also drilled with 04 No. of holes as same of plates of vertical supports and shall be joined with each other with the help of nuts and bolts and welding as well. Total weight of MS used = 295 kg approx.

Installation of gantry by way of earth excavation of two no pit of size 2.5’x2.5’x3.5’by manual means. Laying, ramming and dressing of two no. pit bottom using stone soling followed by mud mat in 1:4:8 mix and finally grouting in cement concrete block 2.5’x2.5’x2.5’ in 1:2:4 mix.

Providing/ hoisting of chain block of 02 Ton capacity with 06 mtr vertical lift. The make of the chain pulley block shall be of pull lift/indef/elephant or equivalent with ISI mark.

Painting of gantry one coat of steel primer and two coats of enamel paint as per directions of site incharge
