Eligibility Criteria

Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

Bidders/Contractors can access tender documents on the website, fill them and submit the completed tender document into electronic tender on the website itself. Form Fee & EMD shall be paid by e-Payment through credit card/debit card/ NEFT challen only (Form fee not refundable)

The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches

Performance Security

Within 20 days of receipt of the notification of contract award, the Supplier shall furnish Performance Security to the Purchaser for an amount of 5% of the Contract Value, valid as per aggrement, after the date of completion of performance obligations including Warranty obligations. In the Event of any correction of defects or replacement of defective material during the Warranty period, The Warranty for the corrected/replaced material shall be extended to a further period of 12 Months and the Performance Bank Guarantee for proportionate value shall be extended 60 days Over and above the initial Warranty period

Bidders should attach all the scanned copies of the certificates as required in Eligibility criteria

Corrigendum/Addendum/Corrections, if any, will be published in the website only

The goods shall be supplied as per the design and drawing, as per detailed technical specification and as per approved tender schedule

Details of Laboratory / testing materials required for testing various items of goods should be furnished at bidder cost

Acceptance/Cancellation of the works / tender are reserved by Executive Engineer without giving any reasons for the same

Successful bidder submitting bids below the amount put to tender will be regularized to submit the difference amount in the form of FDR/TDR/DD/Pledge on the name of (Pledge in the name of EE PRED Shimoga) within 20 days from the date of receiving the letter of acceptance. additional security paid for unbalanced tenders Failing which EMD will be forfeited and further action will be taken as per G O No FD PCL 2008 Bangalore Dated 14/10/2008

This warranty shall remain valid for one year hours of operation or 12months after the Goods or any portion thereof as the case may be, have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination indicated in the Contract, or for 18 months after the date of shipment from the place of loading whichever period concludes earlier

Delivery and Documents (GCC Clause 7)Upon delivery of the Goods, the supplier shall furnish to the Purchaser the following documents (i) One Original and two Copies of the Supplier invoice showing contract number, goods description quantity, unit price, total amount (iii) One Original and two Copies of packing list identifying the contents of each package (iv) Insurance Certificate (v) Manufacturers/Suppliers warranty certificate (vi) Inspection Certificate issued by the nominated inspection agency and the Suppliers factory inspection report
