Reconditioning of 914 mm dia. sluice valve and reflux valve installed at Rising main no.2 at Tawi Pump House Jammuby way of cutting rusted Nuts and Bolts of dismantling joint /distance piece or cutting MS rising main from one side and then holding 914 mmdia. Reflux valve with the help of Hydra crane using sling and then sluice valve, opening nuts and bolts of the refluxvalve/sluice valve, liftingthem, movingthem to the workshop by loading into the mechanical transport and shifting to the workshop.

Extracting out worn-out components Viz flaps, flap pins, bushes, bypass arrangement such as valve and pipe, nuts and bolts from then refluxvalve of PN rating 1.6. Extracting damaged seat and door rings. Cleaning the valve from inside as well as outside and making inside surface smooth with emery paper by removing rust, clay. Providing and fitting ofone no new flap along with door rings as per samplewith, new door rings 02No’s for other two no’sdoors and 03Nos seatrings of gun metal,door pins suitable for pressure PN 1.6 along with Nuts, bushesand other allied items such as HT nuts and bolts of flanges. The job also includes fitting of flap rings and seat rings by properly rivetingusing rivets of suitable size and required materialso that rings properly secure at their places and with stand required working pressure.The size and material of parts should be as per original.Inlet and outlet shell of body shall be fitted by providing high quality gasket, glandpacking, adhesive and HT bolts and nuts. New parts fitted should be of high quality and grade to withstand maximum working pressure. The job also includes fitting of one no new bypass valve as per sample. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges.

Reconditioning of 914 mm dia. sluice valve dismantled from the rising main by way of dismantling of wheels and spur gear and pinion on the top of the sluice valve. Dismantling the top cover of the sluice valve after cutting damaged nuts and bolts with gas cutter. Dismantling and extracting worn-out/damaged components viz stem rod, stem Nut, flap as per sample, flap pins,body rings, nut and bolts etc. Cleaning valve from inside and making surface smooth by using emery paper removingdust, clay. Fabrication and fitting of flap rings on both side of flap of Gun metal as per sample, Providing and fitting New Stem Nutand applying fresh grease to the gear,providing and fitting of new spindle supporting top collar, Bodyrings, HT bolts and nutsalong with allied items. Finishing and polishing seat portion to required size. Assembling sluice valve using new items /parts in place of damaged ones. Top body cover is to be fitted using high quality gasket, gland packing and adhesive and new nuts and bolts. Replacing damaged Pinion with new one the new parts fitted should be high quality and grade to with stand maximum working pressure. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges

Loading of newly fabricated and repaired component in the mechanical transport and shifting back to workshop and unloading at site with the help of crane, and mounting the reflux valve on the rising main with the help of crane

The job involves providing and fitting of new HT bolts -24nos of flanges as per sample. Job involves deployment of crane for holding and the placing sluice valve and refluxvalve at proper position and fitting sluice valve and reflux valve on the rising main by providing and fitting of HT nuts,bolts,washers,rubber insertion sheet between two mating flanges,after making proper alignment and finally fitting distance piece between sluice valve and reflux valve. Complete job includes hire charges of crane, manual labour and material required and charges of all tools and tackles required for execution of job.
