Removal of old chocked filter media (sand & gravel) manually by scrapping and removing layer wise with the help of rope and buckets carefully to ensure separation of the different grades / guages and stacking / dumping within an average lead of 100Mtrs. as directed by Engineer In-charge. Complete Job.
Scaling of filter beds chambers (beds including under drainage system, laterals and walls) including washing / cleaning with water jet and disinfectant (to be supplied by department) .
Washing / cleaning / seiving of filter media of all grades getting free from all dirt, clay, dust etc. The job includes stacking of serviceable cleaned filter media and to separate the different sizes for use in layers (measurements to be taken in finished form).
Laying and shrouding of available filter media in filter beds with equal distribution of materials in a sensitive manner to avoid any damage to any component to restore the same to its original position like gravel under drainage system to prevent sand from percolation under drains.
Providing, laying and placing in position, filter media i.e. (Natural gravel of size 25mm to 2mm spherical as much as possible to be arranged in three layers of 200mm each as a graded material with coarse layer at bottom and fine at top in the range of 25mm-12mm, 12mm -6mm and 6mm -2mm) in filter beds, properly graded, duly cleaned, washed and placed above and surrounding PVC under drainage pipes without causing any damage to these pipes including all carriages, leads lifts etc. up to site of consumption. The filter media shall conform to relevant IS: specification / referred to IS:8419 (Part-I) 1977 read with latest amendments. (Complete Job) including all carriages whatsoever involved.
Repairs to damaged under drainage system by way of replacing of Rajasthan Earthenware pipes 100mm dia, replacement of broken umbrella type nozzles including making the under drainage system air / water tight with required adhesive material. The job includes dismantling of concrete work if required and making good of the same by new concrete work and also dismantling of damaged plaster work and re-plastering of the surfaces at damaged spots with water proofing admixtures. Complete job. Subject to actual requirement at site.
