M&L for Comprehensive, Preventive and routine maint of 4 Nos of chilling machines Make : M/s Trane (Model: RTHC-D-3) of screw type compressor, 350 TR each, single stage, 3000 RPM, 415 Volts, 3 Ph, 50 Hz, semi hermetic electric motor of capacity 235 KW, shell & tube type condenser with carbon steel plate, copper tube, externally tinned & internally enhanced of to pass water flow 1400 USG/PM, incl carbon plate shell & tube flooded type chiller unit working with microprocessor base controls in sheet metal control panel, complete all as specified & directed.

Notes for item no. 1.00: - (a) The three preventive / periodical maint services and one annual comprehensive maint service shall be carried out by M/s Trane to each chiller & condenser machine during the currency of the contract. The contractor shall submit the record of periodical/preventive/Annual maint services carried out by M/s Trane along with documentary evidence for claiming payment.

Notes for item no. 1.00(contd..): - (e)All the complaint/ faults will be addressed within 30 min from the time of receipt of complaint. If, contractor or his tradesmen fails to attend the complaint within 30 min from the time of receipt of complaint, the compensation/penalty of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint per hr. for first 04 hrs. and after that Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand only) per complaint per hr. shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues. (f) The cost of transportation (to and fro) and other necessary equipment shall be arranged / brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.

M&L for dismantling of electric driven horizontal induction motor of capacity 2.0 HP of any type and make, by engaging sufficient man power and suitable T&P to ensure safety of pump-motor as well as working persons including disconnecting of electric connections, dismantling of motor, taking out the burnt windings, cleaning and washing of slots and rewinding the same with copper winding wire of existing gauge and quantity (as per original manufacturer design) including replacement of all damaged parts i. e. bearings, bush, thrust plate, thrust bearing, connector plate, insulating materials such as insulating sheets insulating paper (Class "F"), sealing compounds etc. and reassembling the motor after varnishing, heating/drying, greasing of moving parts etc. and reinstallation of the motor in original location, checking the alignment, making proper electric connection, testing for smooth operation, complete all as directed. Note : (i) The cost of winding wire and all replaced defective parts are deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect. (ii) The cost of transportation (to and fro) and other necessary equipment shall be arranged/brought by contractor to complete the job at site or at repair shop and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.

M&L for complete overhauling of condenser / chiller centrifugal pump set of 50 HP by engaging sufficient man power and suitable T&P to ensure safety of pump-motor as well as working persons including disconnecting suction & discharge water lines and removing electric connection, dismantling the U/S pump set from MS foundation, detaching the pump, opening the pump, remelting the shaft and filling of metal at decayed portions including all kind of machine works i.e. welding, turning, polishing etc. as required to make the shaft of required shape and size, as original, balancing the shaft and refitting in pump body; complete replacement of impeller set with new; required replacement of Cushy foot anti vibration pad with and incl carrying out complete repair / replacement of damaged parts i.e. bearings, bush, gland plate, gland packing, coupling assembly etc. and reassembling the pump after greasing of moving parts and reinstallation of the pump with motor in original location using new MS stud, nut, bolt, washer and other packing material etc.; checking the alignment; reconnecting the suction and delivery pipes, making proper electric connection, testing and commissioning for smooth operation at optimum efficiency, complete all as directed.
