SPECIAL REPAIRS OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AT AF STN ARJAN SINGH UNDER GE (AF) PANAGARH

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m deep below normal ground level connected to and including 25X4mm thick galvanised iron strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR (2009) part-I including 50mm bore GI pipe (light grade) for protection of earth strip and PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 as in pit, Precast RCC earth pit cover 8 cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @150mmc/c and two handles made out of 8mm dia round mild steel bar, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and alternate layers of charcoal, common salt and 20mm bore galvanised medium grade steel tubing for watering with one end fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh and testing on completion all as specified and directed. (Note:- (i) Earth strip and protection pipe upto board 7.5 m and others mentioned above are included in this item (ii) The earthing pit shall be provide with proper earth pit and pit cover (iii) pit cover shall be painted with two coats of cement base paint of approved colour and pit number to be marked on a GI plate above 45 cm from GL as per colour code followed by AF authority (iv) Purchase voucher of GI plate and strip having GST number shall be provided before the payment claim (v) Earthing test certificate from users shall be provided before the payment claim)

Supply & Installation of Advance encapsulated compound based CRPI tested maintenance free, pipe-in-pine technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy Coated), ZINC Coated (150 microns) with pure Zinc (99.9%) & Alloy coating (100-150 microns). Earthing System confirming IS 3043. The outer and inner pipe should be 76.2 mm & 41.9 mm dia, 3 mtrs length, Zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300 mm on the topside for additional protection of the Terminal. The annular space between the pipes being filled up with COMPACT FILLED (Crystallline Conductive Compound). the COMPACT FILLED mixture which is machine pressed in the pipes should disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corroddes. The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity. The job includes digging the pits and refilling the same by BARON conductolite (Premium) Back Fill Earth enhancing Carbon based conductive concrete compound. The back fill compound should be eelctronically conductive with non-corrosive properties & environmentally neutral material. Conductolite Back Fill Compound shall be suitable to be installed in either slurry or dry form and shall not be mixed with any soil/ cemet etc while pouring in the bore hole, so that it improves conductivity of the earth electrode and ground contract area. The earth pit should be provided with a FRP or polyplastic earth pit cover for protection and safeguard of terminals material and labour for ASEEL 39 (ZC & AC COATED) 3MTRS with BARON Back Fill Compound (Conductolite) (1 Elecctrode with 2 Bag BFC (Conductolite) Per 250Kg each bag=1Unit) complete all as specified and directed. The earth pit chamber cover shall be made of FRP / Polyplastic material of best quality heavy duty) of require size duly number to be marked as per color code followed by Air Force authority as approved by GE. (Note:- (i) All the material required for this earthing work including chemical, labour etc. and other mention above are included in this item. (ii) The earthing pit shall be provided with proper earth pit and pit cover as metioned above. (iii) PV of all material and chemical used in earthing work having GST No. shall be provided before the payment claim. (iv) Earthing test certificate shall be provided before the payment claim. (v) All labour involved in including adequate quantity of chemical and testing of earth network shall be included in this item. (vi) Charges for earth resistivity test deem to included in the quoted rate & the work shall be carried out in presence of Engr-in-Charge. (vii) Earth resistanse value shall be less that one Ohm. (viii) Exacavation/Earth work is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ix) The cost of BARON back fill compound (Conductolite) of 25 Kgs per bag required is included in this item (x) The cost of earth pit chamber cover shall be made of FRP / Polyplastic material of best quality heavy duty) of require size duly number is included in this item. (xi) The total quantity of BARON back filled compound as required for this item shall be included in this item. No extra payment shall be admissible on this ground.

S&F for Copper strip 20x3 mm buried in ground and on wall surface with shaddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above/below of any type of wall surface with necessary fixing arrangements by providing proceling base at 60cm interval and using catmium plated fixing screw and insulator per RM as per site requirement (for additional earthing lead beyond 7.5 meters per earth, if so required at site or other location) and also required interconnection of earth pits complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) Strip shall be installed on saddles in such way that in no case copper strip comes in direct contact with pole/wall/Roof etc. (ii) Copper strip will be fixed epoxy base insulators of suitable size (iii) The rates quoted by the contractor included the all items mentioned above.(iv) Purchase voucher of GI plate and strip having GST number shall be provided before the payment claim)

S&F for Copper strip 32x6 mm buried in ground and on wall surface with shaddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above/below of any type of wall surface with necessary fixing arrangements by providing proceling base at 60cm interval and using catmium plated fixing screw and insulator per RM as per site requirement and also required interconnection of earth pits complete all as specified and directed. M&L for 40mm dia galvanized steel tubing (light grade) with complete all fittings such as elbow, unions, nipples, tees, bends, short pieces, connections, check-nuts, caps, plugs, diminishing pieces and flanges etc as in pole, crossing of roads, laid in trenches, fixed on walls for cable protection etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 mm x75 mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal. head screw including 2 mm thick MS box of suitable size for protection of test box terminal duly locking arrangement including connection to condutor and earth strip /wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

S&F for 20 mm bore galvanised iron GI tubing (medium grade) with all fittings such as bends, socket, Tee, Elbow, union, Nipple, short pieces and fixed to walls, ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm dia PVC bib tap ( ISI Marked) screwed to iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.
