Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering -All work up to plinth level : 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).
Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work,using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering,finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve work ability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately). All works upto plinth level

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work.
Demolishing cement concrete manually/by machanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).
Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge
Demolishing brick work manually/by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar.
Removing mortar from bricks and cleaning bricks including stacking within a lead of 50 m (stacks of cleaned bricks shall be measured) : From brick work in cement mortar.
Dismantling steel work in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead in: Channels, angles, tees and flats.
Dismantling barbed wire/concertina coil/R.B.T or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 50 metres lead.
Providing and fixing in position pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints.
Providing & fixing concertina coil fencing with required dia 610 mm (having 15 nos. round per 6 metre length) upto 3m height of wall with existing angle iron "Y" shaped placed at 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. stud tied with G.I. staples & G.I. clips to retain horizontal including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with reinforced barbed tape (R.B.T) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165kg/sq.mm with tape (0.52mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/meter (cost of M.S angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately).
Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Note: (Nothing extra shall be paid on account of payment of royalty charges of Moorum including all leads and lifts involved in the execution of this item.)
Providing and erecting 3.00 metre high of required length temporary barricading of first layer of 3.0 mtr highChainlink fencing, second layer of 3.0 mtr high MS sheet and Concertina coil on the top of the barricade at site as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Item includes cost of material of barricading from start of work till completion of work. The payment will be made for every shiftingper metre for the same material i/c repair, repainting of material .The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work. ).
Providing & fixing PVC pipes of 75mm dia metre and 330mm length, cut and fixed at 45 degree inclination from horizontal, after making necessary opening in wall and fixing with concrete, for weep holes as per direction & satisfication of E.I.C.
Deduct for taking away of unserviceable steel work in frames, shutters, trusses, channels, beams, Tee, angles, bolts, washers, grills, gratings, Reinforcement steel etc. and the like received from dismantling. The materials so received after dismantling shall be duly weighed/ measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his authorised representative and shall be removed from the site by the contractor and will be taken away outside airport premises inluding loading, unloading all complete.
Designing & Submitting the Structural design & drawing of Foundation, Coloumn, Beam, etc. For the proposed construction of Boundary wall after carrying out necessary soil investigation. Soil testing & Structural desingining & Drawing shall be done by a reputed consultant with prior approval of E-I-C. The contractor shall submit the soil test report, Structural design & drawing of boundary wall to the E-I-C- for vetting from any Govt. Engg. College. The Fees/Charges for Vetting shall be paid by the contractor. In case any clarification / alteratration is made by the E-I-C or any Govt. Engg. College, it will be made by the consultant for which nothing will be paid extra. Critical points which are to be considered during design: a. Structural designer / consultant / contractor shall design the boundary wall after considering the actual site condition in full length of proposed boundary wall. If required different design / drawings can be proposed for different lengths of boundary wall, keeping-in-view of the site conditions and different soil properties in different locations. b. Different earth pressure on either side due to difference in ground level on either side of boundary wall. c. Submerged condition of boundary wall due to heavy rains and stagnant water at the location of boundary wall. d. Design of boundary wall must be finalized keeping-in-view of the various security norms prevailing at the time of designing and consultant must be aware of all the security norms. e. Keeping-in-view of the security of the airport, design & drawing of boundary wall must be finalized in such a way so that construction of boundary wall can be completed in minimum time. f. Before finalization of Structural design & drawings consultant should explain it to with E-I-C. After vetting / approval of Structural desing and Drawing 06 (Six) set of good for construction design & Drawing showing all relevent details shall be submitted duly signed by the consultant and contractor. Note: The contractor shall appoint the consultant for soil testing and Structural design with prior approval of the E-I-C.
