M&L for closing the existing street light cable box in coping with suitable weather proof Hylam/Bakelite sheet including dismantling of old accessories, terminating incoming and outgoing cables and connecting the circuit to a new FRP looping box fitted with TPN aluminium bus bar, including all materials, excavation upto 1cum, labour, hardware and suitable cable glands, ferrules, lugs (Al/Cu as required), and making good all disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note: FRP Cable looping box, measured and paid separately under relevant item in the schedule.

S&F in repair aluminium thimble/lugs of size 10 to 25 Sqmm for cable connection in the junction box as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and making cable terminations at the existing street light cable light fitting, including stripping insulation, crimping and fixing suitable size aluminium/ copper lugs to the cable cores, connecting the lugged ends to terminal blocks at both ends, ensuring tight and carbonisation-free contact, insulating exposed portions, arranging the wiring neatly and testing the lighting circuit complete all as specified and directed. M&L for preparation of old surface by scraping down old pealed off paint using sand paper, removing dirt/dust from steel tubular pole and painting to steel tubular pole (9 mtr long) including street light bracket with applying two coats of synthetic aluminium paint over one coat of primer, including marking the pole number etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: The job should also include whitewashing of the PCC foundation of the poles.
