M&L and jointing testing and commisioning in replacement XLPE LT UG Cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 1100 Volt grade, laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole/wall etc Make of LT UG Cable- Havells / KEI/ Polycab and including taking down old unserviceable cables complete all as specified and directed of following sizes :-

Supply & laying GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia bore in protection of cable at road crossing /hard standing/pole protection fixed with clamps as per site requirement etc all as specified and directed. Make :- Prakash surya/Jindal/Tata

Cutting of road / hard standing upto a size not exceeding 20 cms in width and not exceeding 60 cms in depth for laying of LT UG cable protection pipe line making good the disturbed portion so as to match existing finishing or with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Unbinding from insulators ACSR conductor any size of LT over head line for repairs, restretching of ACSR conductor to achieve proper sag and rewinding to the insulators using aluminium/GI wire all as required at site or directed. Note:- Distance between two poles irrespective of no of lengths of conductor shall be considered as a single span.

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches clearing 5 metres horizontal and 5 metres vertical distance from both sides of conductor including removing branches from site, complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Clearing branches from both sides of conductor in between two consequtive poles shall be considered as one span irrespective of distance between poles. (ii) Cost of T&P required for cutting and removing branches shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by bidder.

Supply and Fixing in replacement with 1.5 sqmm 3 core PVC insulated and PVC round sheathed multistranded copper conductor flexible industrial cable 1100 V grade drawn through supply and fixing PVC conduit (junction box to street light fitting) in street light poles and Disconnection of street light fittings and refixing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement U/S GI Brackets with GI pipe medium grade 32 mm dia 1.5 mtr long with 02 nos clamp made out of MS flat iron 40 x 6 mm of suitable size fixed with bolts,nuts and washers including drilling holes and grouting with the same for fixing bolts complite as required duly painted with two coat of aluminum paint and fixing the existing street light fitting complete all as specified and directed. (Rate quoted by the contractor shll deemed to include for nuts and bolts).

Taking out old/bent and tilted LT Pole 9 Mtr long after breaking the PCC complete all as directed.(The rate quoted shall include the cost of excavation,dismantling of conductor, cross-arms and insulators.

M & L in replacement of Steel tubular swagged poles complete with GI base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws specified type 410 SP-31(9 mtrs long) duly painted with aluminium paint two coat over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge (Note:- Earth work ,PCC for foundation and PCC for coping will be measured and paid separetly under their respective items)

M & L in repair for cement concrete PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in pole coping in shape of round/square including dismanting complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair for cement concrete PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in pole foundation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 X 60 cm X 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to and inclduing GI Strip 25X4 mm as earthing lead, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part I and testing on completion inclduing excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, and cover 6 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, funnel with wire mesh, GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade and lugs complete all as specified and directed with earth resistance not more than 1.0 OHMS. Note- In case earth resistance more than 1.0 ohms, the contractor wiil re earthing at no extra cost.

M&L in replacement of FRP junction box of size 325 X 220 X 150 mm having 4 Nos aluminium bus bar of size 25X4 mm fixed on epoxy insulators with MCB SP 6 Amps,fixed on the pole with clamps,nut bolts etc.complete all as specified and directed. Make- Sintex or equivalent.

S&F in repairs for rigid non-metallic PVC conduit of 20 mm dia heavy duty along steel tubular swaged poles for wire from junction box to fittings fixed with 04 Nos MS clamps complete all as specified and directed.
