Repair Painting and Fitment of Ramps on Three Steel Hull Ferry Vessels for plying at Podra Ferry Ghat and Rajabagan Ferry Ghat

Vessel to be blocked and unblocked

Upper deck awning roof to be covered by TATA BLUESCOPE anodised corrugated sheet - 17m X 9m-153 Sqm.

Ultrasonic gauging to be done only on the underwater portion of hull plate and bottom plate.

Corroded, holes & thinned down plates, structural members, railing posts etc. to be cropped & renewed.

Steel fender 200 NB, 8 MM thick half cut pipe stiffened with 'D' shaped stiffeners 500 mm apart.

Both side Propeller Shaft & Rudder arrangements including all bushes are to be dismantled and fitted back after necessary repair.

Both side Propeller (36 inchi dia, 4 blade, Mn- Bronze) to be renewed

Port sides Propeller shafts worn out journals metalizing by SS. Electrode & machining to suit with the respective bushes and trueness to be checked & rectified.

Both side Propeller and coupling bed-in with the respective propeller shaft.

Both side Propeller shaft both end key (SS) renewal with securing screw.

Renewal of STBD side SS. propeller shaft (68mm dia, length Amtr) including all machining work.

Rubber cutlass bushes are to be re-rubberised("A" Bracket and stern tube Aft bushes)

Propeller shaft Gland bushes & gland covers (G.M.) are to be re-sleeved-02 sets

Bend rudder stock straightening and worn-out journals to be metalized and machining with renewal of stock flange.

Rudder stock upper GM bush & gland covers are to be re-sleeved 02 sets

Both side rudder stock lower bushes to be renewed.

Rudder blade securing S.S. bolts & nuts (fitted type) are to be renewed.

Both side engine (6YDA MK-II, Raston) to be full overhauling. Including all spare and machine shop job

Both side engine FIP and injector servicing to be done including all spare parts and machining

Both side mechanical Gear replace by 3:1 Hydraulic gear, compatible with the ruston 6YDA MK-II engine.

Supply and fitment of hydraulic gear cooling pump(KNR-777)

laying of Inlet and outlet pipeline for Gear box cooling system with necessary flanges etc.

Supply and fitment of 32NB globe valve for gear cooling pipeline system.

bilge line valve cleaning and pressure testing if defect found repair to be done.

Engine room and rudder hold bilge suction line opening, cleaning pressure testing and fitment

Damaged bilge pipe (50 NB) to be renewed

Crews' cabin, master cabin and wheel house inside plywood panelling alongwith necessary wooden batons & bits.

Engine room bilge to be cleaned thoroughly and the floor plate to be fitted in position With necessary securing arrangement.

Supply and installationof Engine and Gear control lever.(Remote)

supply and fitment of Push pull cable for engine control

Fuel tanks, Fresh water tank etc. to be cleaned and fresh water tank to be cement washed.

Renewal of entire electrical wiring (AC & DC) alongwith supply and fitment of light fittings, Navigational lights fittings, switch, board, etc. alongwith installation of RPM meter, Lub Oil pressure meter and AMP meter at wheel house including proper wiring connection.

Supply of Battery (12volt 25plate) with necessary terminals.

Fabrication and fitment of RAMP (as per Annexure-1)

Refixing and renewal of sitting arrangement.

Entire vessel external and internal surfaces along with inside frame work, bulkheads, cabin, deck fittings, railing etc. to be thoroughly chipped, scrapped, cleaned and painted internally and externally as per enclosed painting schedule
