SPECIAL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SETS AND BER PUMP SETS AT AFS HAKIMPET

Taking down the existing BER DG Set, the same shall be remove to AGE (E/M) office and supplying installing testing and commissioning diesel engine driven generating set as per CPCB IV norms 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire as per BS 5514/IS-10002 complete with standard control panel, of capacity continuous rating 160 KVA/128 KW at NTP conditions with acoustic enclosure and canopy cover considering all derating factors and comprising of the following complete all as specified and as directed :-

Alternator : Self regulated with brushless self excitation 160 KVA, 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 0.8 P.F.,1500 RPM, with voltage variation plus or minus 2.5% of rated voltage from no-load to full-load foot mounted, screen protected drip proof type with class 'F' insulation, closed coupled single bearing alternator, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers, conforming to BS-5000/IS-4772 capable of supplying unbalanced load.

Engine : Multi/cylinder,compression ignition, heavy duty,compact diesel engine liquid cooled with standard accessories, all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM,control gauges, RPM/Hours meters etc; shaft H.P. suitable for generating application and capable of giving an output of 160 KVA/128 KW for coupled alternator under NTP conditions, complete with following:- (i) Flywheel housing with flywheel to suit closed coupled single bearing alternator. (ii) Air-cleaner dry type with vacuum indicator. (iii) Fuel pump and fuel piping 15mm M.S. pipe with bends, flanges etc. (iv) Fuel filter with water separator and filter element. (v) Lub-oil filter with filter element (vi) D.C. starter 12 volts. (vii) Storage Batteries of suitable voltage and ampere-hours as recommended by the manufacturers. (viii) Residential silencer as per CPCB IV norms (ix) Supporting/fixing arrangement for muffler with celiling through antivibration pads. (x) Engine overspeed stop/trip switch. (xi) Radiator with fan. (xii) Dynamo for battery charging. (xiii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. (xiv) Engine control panel electronic digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure gauges coolant water temp gauge, RPM indicator cum hour meter etc. (xv) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP). (xvi) Any other devices/accessories recommended/supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt.

SKID : The engine and alternator will be coupled,aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from M.S. channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 160 KVA/128 KW DG set.

Diesel tank of capacity for 8 hours continuous run on full load, with caliberated scale (fuel level indicator) dip stick, fuel inlet/outlet , Air vent, drain plug and inlet arrangement for direct filling, including suitable size gate valve in outlet, tank to be fitted at suitable height.

Sound proof enclosure with residential silencer (CPCB IV approved) the sound less than 75 db at a distance of 1 meter from canopy in free field zone.

PCC / RCC foundation complete as per manufacturers own design/ Or as per directions of Engineer-in- charge.

Documents : Three sets of following documents :- Maintenance and operation manuals for engine and alternator, spare parts catalogue, warranty/test certificates, schematic diagrams of control panels.

Other items : List of tools and two years normal maintenance spares as per manufacturers recommended lists, duly priced, item wise. Notes : (i) Contractor will satisfactorily conduct load test of DG set for 12 hours including run on 10% overload for 1 hour. (ii) Testing equipment will be arranged by the contractor. (iii) Fuel/oil required for load test shall be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor. (iv) AMF panel and DG set shall be procured from same OEM i.e make of both shall be same. (v) DG set shall be tested by the representative of Accepting Officer before commissioning and cost thereof deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M & L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcol dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connected by galvanised iron strip 32 mm x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers connected to test termination point protected by 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including taking down unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, G I strip 32 X 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 5 mtr (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, Elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/Sqm in lieu of cast iron cover. Note: On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing & testing cable, XLPE insulated armoured and PVC sheathed LT cable 1100 Volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 240 sqmm 3.5 core, conforming to IS- 7098 (Part I) 1988, laid in trenches or fixed to poles or passing through pipes including necessary clamps, nuts , bolts, washers including taking down unserviceable XLPE Cable complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separetely.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for end termination joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 240 sqmm, Indoor / Outdoor type complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth, for foundations / taking out / in cables / pipes etc or for shafts, well cess pits,man holes, pier holes etc but not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil obtained from excavation to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fill dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning over and below the cable complete all as specified and as directed. (The punned thickness shall only be measured)

Supply and fix precast concrete cable covers class LV type 1, flat size 250 x 150 x 40 mm M-20 grade concrete laid dry for cable protection including taking down old cable covers of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing BER Centrifugal Pump Set, the same shall be remove to AGE (E/M) office and S&F for monobloc centrifugal pumpset electric driven 415V TP suitable for 50 mm size pipe line, 5 HP Capacity, head 38 mtrs & 9.5 LPS complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing BER Submersible Pump Set, the same shall be remove to AGE (E/M) office and S&F for submersible pump electric driven 415V TP suitable for 50 mm pipe bore well, 37 stage, 7.5 HP Capacity (V4) head max 167 mtrs & 1.7 LPS complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing BER Submersible Pump Set, the same shall be remove to AGE (E/M) office and S&F for submersible pump electric driven 415V TP suitable for 50 mm pipe bore well, 25 stage, 5 HP Capacity (V4) max head 130 mtrs & 1.5 LPS complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing BER Submersible Pump Set, the same shall be remove to AGE (E/M) office and S&F for submersible pump electric driven 415V TP suitable for 50 mm pipe bore well, 16 stage, 12.5 HP Capacity (V6) max head 203 mtrs & 1.5 LPS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of DOL Starter 415V, suitable for 5 HP pumpset, IP 54 Protection , Single phase protection, conforms to IS / IEC 60947-4-1 with FRLS internal wiring complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of flat three core PVC insulated & PVC Sheathed industrial cable for submersible pumpset 1100 volt, conforming to IS 694 of size 4 sqmm including taking down unserviceable cable of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of flat three core PVC insulated & PVC Sheathed industrial cable for submersible pumpset 1100 volt, conforming to IS 694 of size 6 sqmm including taking down unserviceable cable of any size complete all as specified and as directed.
