Fabrication and Erection of Floating Trash Barier
Fabrication, Supply and Erection of 40 Mtrs Floating Trash Barrier across the Confluence Point of Uppar Drainage Canal and Inner Channel of Port for preventing the garbages and other floating materials entering the Port’s Navigational Channel. The Trash Floating Barrier shall consists of 20 numbers of small units tied together with each other using Stainless steel chain to have flexibility and counter the tidal & water current effect. Each unit consists of M.S Angle Frame work, four numbers of Buoyancy Floats in two rows (two in each row) and Filtration assembly. The filtration assembly is to be fitted on the upstream side of the Barrier in such a way that the Mesh above the water level shall be 850 mm and below the water level shall be 400 mm. Anchor Points made of RCC Concrete Blocks are to be constructed on both sides of the Canal and both ends of the Trash Barrier are to be tied with these Anchor points using Tie ropes (Stainless Steel Wire ropes) firmly as per drawing enclosed. Painting the M.S Frame assemblies with one coat of Zinc rich Epoxy primer and one coat of Anticorrosive Black paint. (Note: The above Floating Trash Barrier assembly is to be installed across the drainage Canal under running water condition, without affecting the flow of drainage water) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of costs of Hiring of Boat, labour, machineries, precautionary measures, temporary arrangements if any required etc. inclusive of GST @18%. The Dimensions, Quantity and Materials of Construction (MOC) of the Trash Barrier are as follows; i) M.S Frame work unit: MOC : Mild Steel, Quantity: 20 Nos, Overall Length of each unit : 2000 mm, Overall Width of each unit : 1500 mm Overall Height of each unit : 630 mm, Size of M.S Angle : 50 X 50 X 5mm thick ii) Buoyancy Floats : ( 80 Nos), MOC : PVC filled with Poly Urethane Foam, Size : 600 mm Dia X 900 mm length iii) Filtration Unit: (20 units), Over all size : Length: 2000 mm,Width:1500 mm, Mesh material : Stainless Steel square mesh (50 mm X 50 mm square) Mesh wire thick : 3 mm, Outer frame : Stainless Steel square angle of 25mmX 25mm X 6mm thick. iv) Chain for connecting each units: (24 Mtrs), MOC : Stainless Steel chain, Size : Length: 24 Mtr, Thick: 10 mm v) Tie Ropes: (20 Mtrs), MOC : Stainless Steel wire ropes, Size : Length: 20 Mtr, Thick: 16 mm vi) Anchor Points: (2 Nos), MOC : Re-in forced Cement Concrete cubes(M30 Grade), Size : 1000 mm X 1000 mmX 1000 mm
