COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE TO MD/OTM ACCN AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF KAVARATTI, MINICOY AND ANDROTH UNDER GE (NAVY) LAKSHADWEEP

Providing Outsourcing services of ITI / ITC qualified skilled electrician 01 No. in 8 hours shift wise duty will be provided. Work shall be carried out in one shift of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and Government holidays for Manning and operation of electrical complaints and carrying out its day to day maintenance such as attending electrical fault (internal/external electric supply), point wiring, fixing of electrical items (light, fan, switch, socket etc) at ICGS Kavaratti & ICGS Minicoy complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Work shall be carried out in one shift of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and Government holidays for Manning and operation of electrical complaints and carrying out its day to day maintenance such as attending electrical fault (internal/external electric supply), point wiring, fixing of electrical items (light, fan, switch, socket etc) at ICGS Kavaratti & ICGS Minicoy complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Note for Sl item No. 1 to 4 (i) The operation consists of one (01) shift in a day on all days including sundays and holidays and shift timings from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs. (ii) Daily checking of complaint register and attending complaint, complaint book should be supplied by the Contractor to the electrician at his own cost and the cost deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Duty roster / Attendance register should be maintained by the contractor for each shift and submit the same before processing the RAR's. (iv) The Operator should aware of working of electrical apparatus such as Transformers, DG Sets , motors, Servo stabilizers, water pumps, ACs etc. (v) Tools like cutting player, LT Gloves, Earthing rod, drill machine, tester, clamp meter or any electrical equipment required for complaint rectification should be supplied by the contractor to the electrician at his own cost and the cost deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (vi) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off, leave, holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule 'A'/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (vii) Providing services of electrician / mate at islands as directed by Engr- in-chargeas as per requirement for which nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (viii) The cost of conveyance charges from one to another Island for deployment of man power provided shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (ix) The items required to ensure efficient maintenance shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items as supply only rates.
