(As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type A 13.2mm stone for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by manual means - Water bound macadam Gr-II with stone screening 13.2mm metal. Cleaning the existing W.B.M. road surface including removing of binding material and other foreign matter with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment. As per clause no 502.4.2 and 503.3.1 of MOST specification.

Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, heating bitumen in boiler and spraying the bitumen with spray set fitted on bitumen boiler - on granular base such as WBM and WBM surfaces not bitumen primed. Rate of application 10kg/10sqm.

Providing and laying open graded premix carpet with specified graded crushed aggregates for wearing course including loading of aggregates with F.E. loader, heating binder and aggregates in hot mix plant 30 to 40 tonne, transporting the mixed material with tipper and laying with paver finisher to the required level and grade, rolling with power roller 8 to 10 tonne but excluding cost of tack and seal coat with lead for mix of material 1 km. Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a consolidated thickness of 0.15 cm for sub base course including stacking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre – measurement the volume of stocks calculated as per the actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. Fabricating, Supplying and erection of screw gearing steel shutters of size above 3.00 up to 4.00 m width, made out of 10 mm thick Mild steel plate minimum 4 rows of horizontal stiffeners using ISMB 150 x 75 mm and ISMC 100 x 50 mm channels 6 rows for verticals and gusset plates 2 Nos. of size 0.25 x 0.25 m using 12 mm mild steel plate providing roller on both sides 4 Nos. of 100 mm dia Mild steel rollers with 80 mm dia Gun metal bushes fixed on 100 x 50 mm Mild steel channel 2 Nos. on both side and providing leakage proof pipe “B” class 80 mm dia GI pipe 2 Nos. to the required height with required bolts and nuts.
