DESIGN UNDERGROUND — DESIGN UNDERGROUND WATER TANK: DESIGN OF 200 KL UNDERGROUND RCC SUMP TANK FOR STORAGE AND PUMPING OF WATER. SCOPE SHALL INCLUDE SUBMITTING OF ALL THE APPROPRIATE DRAWINGS REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 200 KL UNDERGROUND SUMP TANK AT APPROPRIATE LOCATION AS SHOWN BY EIC, DESIGN SHALL INCLUDE SPECIFICATIONS OF APPROPRIATE SUBMERSIBLE PUMP FOR PUMPING WATER, PIPING REQUIRED FOR FILLING AND EMPTYING WATER TO AND FROM THE TANK. STRUCTURE REQUIRED FOR ACCESSING THE SUMP TANK. Design of 200 KL underground RCC sump tank for storage and pumping of water. Scope shall include submitting of all the appropriate drawings required for construction of 200 KL underground sump tank at appropriate location as shown by EIC, design shall include specifications of appropriate submersible pump, discharge of submersible pump or Non submersible pump to cater pumping to overhead tank at 20-meter maximum head. Design to also include piping for pumping water, piping required for filling and emptying water to and from the sump tank to overhead tank. Structure required for accessing the sump tank. Excavation up to 3 meters — EXCAVATION. Excavation up to 3 metersExcavation and backfilling by manual or mechanised method as per drawing around foundation, duct banks, culverts and trenches/pits in all types of soil viz. earth, sand, gravel, clay, soft & hard murum etc. (excluding hard rock) for footings, steps, plinth beams, equipment foundations, drains, trenches, culverts, duct banks, manholes, underground tanks/pits, etc including shoring strutting, dewatering where required (until foundation work is complete). item also includes carting of surplus excavated earth, stacking, spreading, levelling and compacting/consolidating surplus materials within HPCL's premises or outside at an approved place for all leads as per instructions of engineer in charge (rate includes removal of any vegetation, small shrubs etc. having girth of 300mm or less). excavated volume as per approved drawing (foundation/structure size) shall only be considered for measurement. complete as per project drawings, specifications and as directed by engineer in charge Note 1: Rate shall be inclusive of all royalties / obtaining clearance of local authorities for disposal & borrow area, no extra cost whatsoever than the quoted rates shall be paid. Note 2: Rate shall be inclusive of test pits required to locate existing underground utilities in the excavation area as per the engineer in charge instructions Note 3: Contractor shall select the location for dumping in local authority approved area with documentary proof. Note 4: Rate shall be inclusive of cut and fill slope as per project specification required at site during excavation however excavated volume as per approved drawing (foundation/structure size) shall only be considered for measurement.

PCC 1:4:8 — PROVIDING AND LAYING PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE FOR ALL DEPTHS BELOW AND UPTO PLINTH LEVEL IN FOUNDATIONS,DRAINS, FILLINGS, NON-SUSPENDED FLOORS, PAVEMENTS & RAMPS OR ANY OTHER WORKS ETC. INCLUDING SHUTTERING, TAMPING, RAMMING, VIBRATING, CURING ETC. ALL AS SPECIFIED IN ANY SHAPE, POSITION, THICKNESS AND FINISHING THE TOP SURFACE ROUGH OR SMOOTH AS SPECIFIED AND DIRECTED ALL COMPLETE FOR CONCRETE OF NOMINAL MIX 1:4:8 BY MASS (1 CEMENT: 4 COARSE SAND: 8 CRUSHED STONE AGGREGATES/GRAVELS) WITH 40MM AND DOWN SIZE GRADED CRUSHED STONE AGGAREGATES/GRAVELS. (ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR COST)

SPLY AND LAYG OF VRCC — VRCC (M-30 GRADE): PROVIDING AND LAYING VIBRATED REINFORCEMENT CEMENT CONCRETE (M-30 GRADE) USING 20 MM HBG CRUSHED METAL INCLUDING COST AND CONVEYANCE OF ALL MATERIALS, BAR BENDING, SHUTTERING FOR CONCRETE AND LABOUR CHARGES BUT EXCLUDING COST OF STEEL FABRICATION CHARGES ETC. RCC TO INCLUDE WATER SEALING AS AND WHERE REQUIRED. WATER SEALING:PROVIDING AND FIXING HYDROPHILIC WATER SEALING MATERIALS (20 MM X 10 MM) OF ASSORTED PROFILES OF APPROVED MAKE AT CONSTRUCTION JOINTS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF BASEMENT RAFT RCC AND PERIPHERAL RCC RETAINING WALL, CONSTRUCTION JOINTS AND AT OTHER WATER RETAINING STRUCTURES LIKE UG AND OH TANKS INCLUDING CREATING NECESSARY NOMINAL TRAPEZOIDAL KEY SHAPE IN THE FORMWORK FINISH OR BY MASONS FINISH, INCLUDING APPLYING SUITABLE ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS AS PER PARTICULAR SPECIFICATION AND AS RECOMMENDED, SUPPLIED BY THE APPROVED MANUFACTURER FOR PROPER AND HIGHLY SECURE BONDING WITH SUBSTRATE, ROUGH/SMOOTH AND WET/DRY, PROPER SPLICING AND JOINTING AT CORNERS, T, L AND X JUNCTIONS USING SUITABLE GLUE, AT ALL SUCH LOCATIONS, AND AS DIRECTED BY ENGINEER-IN-CHARGE. Scope also includes Water tightness testing for the 200KL below ground water tank constructed as per drawing and rectification ensuring leak proof wherever required. Water required for testing shall be provided by HPCL. Incas vendor has to arrange water for testing, then line item 9 shall be utilised. Vendor shall undertake all the required repair works in case testing fails and ensure proper leak proofing wherever required, same shall be completed within specified delivery period.

SURFACE PREP OF — SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLYING ACCO-PROOF PLASTERING WITH CM (1:3) PROP. 12 MM THICK WITH 2% ACCO-PROOF POWDER INCLUDING COST AND CONVEYANCE OF ALL MATERIALS AND LABOUR CHARGES ETC COMPLETE AS PER STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OFR SUMP WELL.

EPOXY PAINTING — FINISHING WITH EPOXY PAINT (TWO OR MORE COATS) ON CONCRETE/ CEMENTUOUS SURFACE AT ALL LOCATIONS PREPARED AND APPLIED AS PER MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS INCLUDING APPROPRIATE PRIMING COAT, PREPARATION OF SURFACE, ETC. COMPLETE.

SNOWCEM PAINT — Surface preparations, apply 2 finisg coats of waterproof cement paint of snowcem or approved over a coat of primer.Curing etc complete.

WATER TIGHTNESS TESTING — WATER TIGHTNESS TESTING FOR 200 KL BELOW GROUND WATER TANK AND RECTIFICATION AS REQUIRED. This line item shall be used only in case HPCL fails to provide water for testing as mentioned in line item 5. Scope includes vendor to arrange water for filling the tank, testing and discharging.

SPLY AND INSTLN OF STEEL — SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF STEEL FOR FABRICATION OF STRUCTURES AND REINFORCEMENT FOR CONCRETE.
