Annual maintenance contract for Grass cutting / bush removal/small plants removal, minor levelling, etc and ancillary works wherever required at Prayagraj Airport for period 2024-25.

Amount

Cutting grass, uprooting of bushes, uprooting of plants as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall be done using Tractor attached with Mulcher assembly capable to cut the grass / bush in normal ground as well as undulated ground having scattered stones etc. The tractor shall have valid registration papers, valid insurance, valid fitness certificate / PUC etc. The quoted cost shall include cost of tractor with mulcher assembly, skilled driver having valid commercial license, helper and fuel for executing the works in all tractor approachable areas of Prayagraj Airport as per direction and discretion of officer-in-Charge of the work. All required T&P shall be provided with the tractor for safe and uninterrupted operation of tractor. In such areas and for monsoon periods during which cutting of grass using tractor - mulcher cannot be done, as per the decision of Engineer-in-Charge, grass cutting in only those areas and during monsoon periods shall be done by hand held brush cutting machine including machine operator, fuel and all kind of blades/wires required for cutting grass. Wherever required, uprooting of bushes & plants, grass cutting using talwar, removal of scattered stones and placing in isolated locations, minor levelling, etc which require manual labour shall be done using manual labour and the contractor must include its cost in the quoted rate for grass cutting. The area should be maintained neat and clean using tractor-mulcher/ hand held brush cutting machine/ manual labour wherever required as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing tractor with attached hydraulic trolley of approx. size 125 to 150 cubic feet including driver and fuel for the purpose of transportation of stone boulders, roots of bushes and trees and likewise un-useful material from the various locations of all areas of Airport and dumping the same in the isolated safe location identified by Officer-in-Charge within or outside of Airport premises all lifts and lead.

Providing and operating hydraulic excavator (3D) JCB having valid registration papers, valid insurance, valid fitness certificate with skilled driver, helper and fuel for executing all kind of earth work including levelling, dressing of the ground, removal of stone boulders from all areas of Prayagraj Airport as per direction and discretion of officer-in-Charge of the work. The driver should possess valid commercial driving license and all T&P required for safe operation of JCB.

Supplying unskilled manpower with required T&P for removal of grass / bushes from edges of roads, runway, taxiways, lights / navaids surroundings and from joints of all others rigid / flexible pavements, removal of stone boulders from various locations of operational area of Prayagraj Airport and all other works as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Prevailing minimum wages should be paid to the labour engaged, irrespective of the quoted rate by the contractor.)
