Repairing Description for Almirah Large and Medium Steel : (8.01 to 8.06) ( FD-1031, 1032)

Taking out old unserviceable existing handle and S&F chromium plated handles including necessary nut, bolts, washer etc for almirah large steel /almirah medium steel.

Taking out existing shelves and making the same in functioning condition including necessary nuts, bolts, clips and washer etc of almirah large / medium steel all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable leg of almirah large/medium steel and S&F new legs made out of 20 gauge MS sheet made to shape and sizes shown on drawing all as directed.

Removing of existing unserviceable lock from almirah medium/large steel and supply and fix new brass lock 6 lever with duplicate key complete.

Removing existing locking device with MS plate, rod and S&F new locking device with plate, rod complete in almirah large steel as directed.

All as per Item No 8.05 above but in almirah medium steel

Painting Description (for item No 9.01 to 9.15) :- M&L preparation old painted steel surfaces i.e filliing all holes/cracks or detoriated spots of old painted steel furniture with primer, (Internally /externally) putty then by cleaning and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint olive green/black/ white/grey (as directed) with spray gun or by manual brush and roller as per requirement in appropriate shade complete including S&F hard rubber shoe where ever required all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Taking out old unserviceable drawers of table office clerk/ typist/ officers steel and S&F new drawers made out of 20 gauge MS sheet made to shape and sizes shown on drawing all as directed. (FD-1004, 1003, FD-1006)

Taking out old unserviceable existing centre stiffeners/long rail of table dining OR and supplying and fixing new one made out of 25mm square MS pipe of 1.6mm wall thickness as shown on drawing and directed. (FD-165)

M&L welding throughout in broken joints of frame of table dining OR, teapoy verandah,table 3’x2’, 3’x3’, office officer, office clk, typist etc. Welding at one broken point will be counted as one point. (FD-165,255, 1003, 1004,)

Taking out old unserviceable seat plank of form with back and S&F new plank of 2nd class hard wood in one piece duly wrought upper side including edges and cleaning the other face bottom fix with MS nut and washer as shown on drawing & directed size of Plank shall be 1800mm x 255mm x 25mm. (FD-77,97,78M)

All as per Item No 12.00 above but form without back and size of Plank shall be 1525mm x 255mm x 25mm. (FD-77,97,78M)

Replacement of 5.5mm thick plain glass openable glass shutters with magnetic catcher and stainless steel patch fitting for glass EBCO type all as per drg as directed.

Replacement of top of TV trolly with 18mm thick pre-laminated particle/MDF exterior grade board ISI marked of approved shade with 50 x 50mm moulded teak wood beading on 3 sides to shape to be provided all as per drg and as directed.

Replacement of swivel type nylon castors all as per drg and as directed.

Book Case Steel : (17.01 to 17.05) (FD-1028)

Taking out old unserviceable existing handle and S&F chromium plated handles including necessary nut, bolts, washer etc for book case steel.

Taking out existing shelves and making the same in functioning condition including necessary nuts, bolts, clits, clips and washer etc all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable glass and S&F new plain glass 3mm including fixing of glass supporing MS plate with screw/nut bolts. The shape and sizes as per drawing and directed.

Removing of existing unserviceable locks and S&F new lock set (04 Nos of lock with two keys only) as per drawing and directed.

M&L welding where required and filling properly at places of welding point throughout in broken frame of Locker steel and book case steel. One broken point shall be measured as one point ie one unit. (FD-1028, 1029)

REPAIRS TO CHARPOY GI HARD TOP (18.01 TO 18.06) :- M&L for replacement of following parts all as specified and shown on drawings. Fixing and finishing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship/ specification and as directed. (FD-220(M)

Removing existing unserviceable plywood from charpoy GI Pipe and tightening of Charpoy frame, check nuts and elbow as required and Supply & fixing of new plyaood of size 1980X900x12 mm thick BWR grade ISI marked by providing 04 Nos of clits welded 2 on each short rail and 02 Nos of stiffner made of flat iron of size (40x05 x900 ) mm duly painted black and ply shall be fixed with 10 Nos of suitable round headed nut bolts and washer as approved in each charpoy through suitable drill machine holes of appropriate size complete all as directed.

Removing of old long rail of Charpoy GI Pipe and supply and fix new long rail of 32mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly threaded both sides as required. Drg No FD-220 Note : 1. Old long rail as retrieved shall be used for converting short rail under item No 18.03 and charges for converting is included in unit rate of item. 2. GI pipe shall be arrange by the contractor and pipe shall be ISI marked.

Conversion of long rails of Charpoy GI Pipe (retrieved under item No 18.02) into short rail by cutting/finishing to shape and threading and replacing the same as required against unserviceable short rail. Drg No FD-220 Note : Old short rail retrieved shall be used for converting the leg under item No 18.04 and charges for converting is included in the unit rate of item.

Conversion of short rails (retrieved under item No 18.03) into leg rail by cutting/finishing to shape and threading and replacing the same as required against unserviceable short rail. (Drg No FD-220)

Removing old elbow from charpoy and S&F 32mm bore medium grade GI elbow, 3 ways ISI marked complete all as directed.

Removing old check nut from charpoy and S&F new check nut 32mm bore, 6mm thick galvanised iron medium grade complete all as directed.
