Formation of Embankment Sub grade with carted earth from the approved source as directed by the departmental officers with not less than CBR 6 % including the cost and conveyance of earth to site , spreading the Earth Uniformly in layers of not exceeding 250 mm thick as directed by departmental officers including the compaction each layers to the required density in accordance with IS 2720 part VII at 95 % proctor density for embankment and shoulders & 97% for Subgrade keeping the moisture content of earth at the time of compaction within the range of 1% above and 2.5 below the OMC determined and plasticity index value of not more than 20 and liquid limit value not greater than 40 in accordance with IS2720 using required capacity rollers in order to achieve the required density in layers including watering with all leads for water and finishing the surface to line and grades , sections as directed by the departmental officers and including hire charges and running charges for rollers and all other tools and plants employed for the work and all labour charges widening the embankment including the compacting the original ground with the power rollers etc complete as per clause 304 MORT&H specification Rev.5 for Slip road.
Constructing Granular Sub-Base course with all lifts and leads all complete as per MORT&H specifications Clause 401 confirming to table 400-1 & 400-2 Grading V. Weathering course in brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be used) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.5 by volume and laid over the RCC roof slab in a single layer of required slope and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water, etc., complete as per standard specification and as directed by the deparmental officers.
