Demolition of cement concrete of any description (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cms thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of debris to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete including removal of debris to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and sub base of floors, path/ paving etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for precast RCC (1:2:4) type A1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in cover slab (for manholes) and set in CM (1:4) including necessary fair finish formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured & paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Taking down/ removing existing roof treatment over roof slab, roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/ roof/ terrace by picking and wire brushing the surface to remove the loose concrete, dust etc, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc including removal of debris to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering over roof surfaces in CM 1:4 with using water proofing compound @ 2% by wt of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for applying evenly tack coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade conforming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm after cleaning the surfaces over & including a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.30 litre/ sqm consisting of 3/4 part bitumen of grade 85/25 and 1/4 part of kerosene oil on the top of prepared roof surfaces complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for unrolled over the bitumen coated surface, 3mm thick spun bonded non-woven polyester reinforced APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with minimum over lap of 100mm and over lap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Suitable embedment of APP modified water proofing membrane shall be ensured into walls/parapet walls, special care shall be taken in laying APP modified water proofing membrane in situations such as drain/ expansion joints etc.

M&L for applying a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100gm/ sqm and blinding material such as dry sand @ 0.75Kg/ Sqm over & including a coat of hot air blown bitumen 85/25 grade conforming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm over polymeric membrane complete all as specified & directed. Note- Bituminous aluminium paint shall be of same manufacturer's as specified for polymeric water proofing membrane.

M&L for 25 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in padding in adequate slope on roof surface and finishing the top an even and smooth mixed with WPC as per manufacturer instruction to recieve WPT complete all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC will be measured and paid for separately as "Supply only" against relevant Item of this BOQ

Dismantling of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and pre-cast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' fly ash modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) of make as approved by GE complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (PVC/ SGSW/ AC/ RCC pipe) of 150 mm bore of pipe, set in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for salt glazed stone ware (SGSW) pipe conforming to IS, laid in trenches and jointed in CM (1:1) for 150 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L concrete bed to pipes in PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid on slope and tested for 150 mm bore sewer pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting into existing manholes 150 mm nominal dia. for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Chowkhats or frame with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) area n.exc 1.50 sqm each and removal complete all as specified & directed.

S&F factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded/ sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed together with solvent cement, fixed in frame complete all as specified & directed. Make:- Sintex or Rajshree or equivalent make as approved by GE.

M&L for factory made 35mm thick second class (Indian Sal, Bijasal, Hollock or Benteak) hardwood plain, framed, panelled shutter (two or three panels) with lock rail and panel of 9mm thick B.W.P commercial ply or 12mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces; size of rail and stiles as per IS: 1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix 125mm size butt hinges, medium weight, cold rolled mild steel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix factory made pre-coated steel windows/ ventilators flash butt welded with side hung shutters including box type hinges with pre-coated handles, pre-coated tower bolts, pre-coated steel peg stay 250mm long with suitable lugs and with glazing bars dovetailed or welded with and including provision of guard bars complete all as specified and as directed.complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) For construction details, TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/980 Sheet 1/2 & 2/2 shall be followed. (ii) Wiremesh/ glass panes shall be measured and paid separately in "supply only" under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350x250x7mm or 450x350x7mm thick as approved by GE on vertical surfaces such as skirting/ dado, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement forming joints to full depth at every 3M intervals and at every change of direction and filing with bitumen sand mixture 1:3 by weight complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster etc on brick walls/ concrete (ceiling) surfaces of any descriptions including racking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water and disposal of unserviceable materials to out side of MD land complete all as specified & directed.

Notes:- (i) Finished sub main wiring with two runs of 4.0 sqmm cable & one run of 4.0 sqmm cable alongwith PVC conduit and its accessories shall be measured and paid one unit length. M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron wire 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 15mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing wire, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear including 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth wire alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Punned thickness will be measured)

Supplying and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type-1, flat, size 300x180x40mm complete all as specified and directed.
