Supply of ultrafast setting curing free repair compound SW-CRETE T-01 or equivalent make at site for repair of concrete / anchor grouts etc. as per manufacturer specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. The compound shall be supplied at site in pack size of 25 kg.
Laying of ultrafast setting curing free repair compound SW-CRETE T-01 or equivalent make for treatment / repair of distress in panels of existing concrete pavement in required depth as per site requirement i/c preparing the mix in ratio 1:1:1 by weight (1 Repair Compound : 1 Coarse Sand : 1 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) mixed with water in proportion as per manufacturer specifications and mixing with mechanical mixing machine till the mix becomes homogeneous and ready for laying. The prepared mix should be self-flowing and the same shall be poured in patch / distressed panel in required depth and finishing the top surface in line with adjacent concrete surface i/c removing the air voids from mix and making the finished surface textured with hand broom etc. complete. Rate shall be inclusive of cutting & removing the old concrete, chiseling for required width & depth i/c compressed air cleaning & water jet cleaning wherever required, disposal of rubbish, preparing of mix, laying, finishing etc. all complete as per manufacturer specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: a) The rate quoted shall be exclusive of cost of repair compund which shall be paid separately in Item No.13 & is inclusive of all other materials & operations involved in this item of work. b) The quantity of repair compound consumed in kg in repair work shall be measured for payment purpose of this item.
Supplying of self levelling three component modified Elastomeric concrete compound (of preferred make mentioned in tender document) at site as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. The one pack of 10 kg Elastomeric concrete shall consist of three components viz. Component A - 3.0 to 3.6 Kg, Component B - 1.50 to 0.9 Kg, Component C (Aggregates) - 5.5 Kg.
Supplying of primer (of preferred make mentioned in tender document) for Elastomeric concrete compound at site as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Laying of self levelling modified Elastomeric concrete compound (of preferred make mentioned in tender document) in damaged portion of rigid pavement / potholes / surface spalls / cracks including demarcation, cutting, chipping the pavement up to required size by using mechanical cutters, side locking on the vertical face, preparing the area for application by removing all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter, applying the primer, masking around the patch / crack / spall to avoid accidental spillage of compound, pouring the compound, finishing & texturing complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge with required machines & tools. Note: The rate quoted shall be exclusive of cost of elastomeric compound and primer which shall be paid separately in Item no. 15 and 16 respectively.
Repairing of existing expansion joints including cutting the edges in line with mechanical cutters as per requirement, removing loose/dust particles, cleaning the expansion joints, wherever required, providing & filing with polysulphide joint sealing compound (confirming to grade BS:5212, Part-I, 1990) of preferred make mentioned in tender document including painting the sides of slab / joint with approved primer, providing and inserting the backup material of 30 mm dia conforming to IS code and of approved make in the joint to receive the specified sealing compound, providing and applying bond breaking tape on top edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant, laying of polysulphide sealant, making groove on top of sealant / joint with adequate tool, finishing & texturing etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Repairing of existing construction / dummy joints including cutting the edges in line with mechanical cutters as per requirement, removing loose/dust particles, cleaning the construction / dummy joints, wherever required, providing & filing with polysulphide joint sealing compound (confirming to grade BS:5212, Part-I, 1990) of preferred make mentioned in tender document including painting the sides of slab / joint with approved primer, providing and inserting the backup material of 12 mm dia conforming to IS code and of approved make in the joint to receive the specified sealing compound, providing and applying bond breaking tape on top edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant, laying of polysulphide sealant, making groove on top of sealant / joint with adequate tool, finishing & texturing etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Repairing of existing surface cracks in concrete panels including grinding / cutting the edges in line with mechanical cutters as per requirement to make a groove 25 mm wide and 20 mm deep, removing loose/dust particles, cleaning the groove, wherever required, providing & filing with polysulphide joint sealing compound (confirming to grade BS:5212, Part-I, 1990) of preferred make mentioned in tender document including painting the sides of groove / crack with approved primer, providing and applying bond breaking tape on top edges of groove / crack to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and filling the groove / crack with the specified sealing compound, finishing & texturing etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Deduct for taking away of steel work in frames, shutters, trusses, channels, beams, Tee, angles, bolts, washers etc. and the like received from dismantling. The material so received shall be the property of contractor after dismantling duly weighed/ measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his authorised representative all complete.
